Wonderful Jeans
I purchased these jeans in Black. I am 5'3" and find that the regular size length is best for me instead of petite - gives me the option to cuff them to change the look if desired. These jeans fit TTS - are very comfortable without being too tight. There is room to be able to tuck in a tee shirt. I am liking the new sizing which seems to go more with the actual size measurements instead of being so oversized. I know that some may prefer items being oversized so I suggest that you look at the size measurement chart instead of just purchasing your normal EF size. My sales person told me that being more TTS will now be the trend which makes me very happy. But this might mean that some of you may need to purchase a size larger than you may have in the past with EF. This denim is a great weight, not too thick so I find these to be pretty much an all year item. I wash them in cold water and hang to dry.

Nice Fabric
Waist is made for junior sizing rather than typical womens despite being petite!! Sizing is off on all the pants with button and zipper closures. Very frustrating!!! However, the hip and leg are perfect for petite size. Please adjust for future . Very slim fit in structured belted waist!

Very slim fit (for EF)
I like the color of these jeans, but I wish they were 1 inch wider in the leg width and length (I am 5’6”, weigh 130 lbs, and bought my usual EF size small). Also, the front pockets are only about 1 inch deep - decorative, but not really functional as pockets. I’ll keep them because they look ok, and were 1/2 price. I hope there is no shrinkage with cold water wash and air dry.

Too big!
We have been going through a family health crisis, and I have lost a lot of weight. I had hoped that these jeans would work for me. I have a lot of EF denim, and love the styles and feel. Unfortunately, these were so large that it was impossible to even judge how they looked.

They shrink in length
Great fit, but the pants shrunk. Now I have cropped pants. I washed in warm water, and hung them. They still shrunk.

Perfect slim straight leg jean
These jeans are awesome. The fabrication fells good and they are a perfect mid-weight and lively color. They are very flattering on, and do not stretch out excessively while wearing them. They laundered well with no noticeable shrinkage. Very pleased with my purchase, would like them in multiple colors.

Very pleased!
I didn't understand how fitted fly-front pants could work with the S/M/L sizes but I ordered the size that I would get for elastic-waisted EF pants and the pants I got work perfectly! These are such nice pants. Really like the fabric, the fit, everything about them.

Front pockets too shallow
Happy to see denim jeans being available again and happy with the quality. The black color isn’t as dark as shown but found the shallowness of the front pockets most surprising and disappointing; can’t hold a phone of any size. Normally PS but ordered S to get the longer inseam.

Nice slim ankle length jeans but fit was off
I had previously purchased these same jeans in Black but had to return the Charcoal gray color as the waist was way too large. I am petite 5'2" and EF ankle length regular size Small fits me best in most EF pant styles. I really liked the material quality and slim fit as some styles are overwhelming in material for petite person.

Great fit but too loose in waist
I have bought many pair of jeans and other pants from EF over the years as I like the quality and can count on them to fit reliably. However, occasionally, as in the case with these, the waist is too loose. So I cut off the metal button and replaced it with a sewn-in button I shifted over about an inch. Then they were perfect.

10 Petite does not necessarily mean tiny.
I had tried to 10 Regular in the store, a decent fit though the waist was a bit largeand they were a bit too long. I ordered the 10 Petite, it was like they were a much smaller size, very tight in the legs, hips, and waist. Perhaps more like a 6 Petite. I don't understand why designers/manufacturers can't understand that petite is a proportion, not a size, and should have a shorter rise and shorter inseam but the rest of the measurements should be the same as a regular size. Disappointing.

Better fit, great color
I ordered these from a dept store, for easier return, since I have returned all the "hard pants" from EF in the last few yearsand thought the probability of a good fit was low. These are much better, reminiscent of years ago. I compared to last year's in carbon, which I scored from this site on sale, both in XL. These fit much better. Waist was more forgiving, rise not as high, and most important, no extra fabric at thighs like jodhpurs. The color is very similar, bit of shading on the carbon ones. As for returns, the change of carriers is great, my latest one took 1 day!
