- Subtly curved through the leg, slightly tapered at the ankle. Fits the body with ease.
- Kalyane is 5'10" and wears a size S in Deep Indigo. Haejin is 5'5" and wears a size PS. Ryan is 5'8" and wears a size 1X.
- 5-pocket styling, fly front with button and zipper closure.
- Belt loops.
- 11-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size S). 10-inch rise; 26-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size PS). 13-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 8-inch leg opening (size 1X).

These are very nice. The lantern shape is not overly exaggerated as to make them look clownish. Fabric is lovely with just the right amount of stretch.

Comfortable and flattering
Found these pants to be very comfortable and the fabric is very nice. This is the second pair of the lantern pants that I have purchased, and in both I had to go down from my usual size of XS to XXS. Sizing can often be difficult to gauge in these different styles. These washed well and there was no shrinkage.

Tall Women Considerations
At 5'-11" I'm little dubious about "ankle" pants. While these do hit above my ankle, I'll use as a summer pant with sandals, so it will work well. Great construction and quality.

Happy in Lantern Ankle
Normally stay with Slim Ankle jeans, fits best for my 5’, 100lb frame. For the Lantern, stayed with same PP size, perfect. Chose Classic Indigo as it seemed fresh & fit the lantern style, love it, Silhouette is good without being overwhelming. Is a tad out of my comfort zone for 72yrs but a solid choice, no regrets.
Reviewers said this seasons Lantern ankle was a bit scaled down from past season. Had tried those and for me, too much volume. This season, nailed it!

Small is not enough
Love the fit. Love the color faded blue jeans! However stretched out the first time I wore them ! I ordered a second pair one size smaller! What do I do with the stretching??

Nice fit, Low quality
I loved the design and fit initially and bought the light color denim in PS that was a relaxed fit (5'2, 125pounds). It immediately starting stretching out very much after a few hours of wearing it, but, after a couple of months owning it, it even stopped regaining its shape after washing. I have been washing it in cold water and line dried

Cute, fun style. Good fit. 4 stars because fabic weight feels a bit heavy and kness do stretch after wearing a few hours. BUT, I purched another pair because of it's style is complementary. I like lantern pants.

One tiny issue
I LOVE lantern pants ..I have eight pairs in various fabrics. These denims are terrific, with just one problem..dinky , shallow , useless front pockets. Why??? Is this some cost cutting thing? My others have normal pockets, pockets one can actually use. Women, contrary to popular belief, like and use pockets! for the price, there should be functional pockets.

Not petite but not Regular- a connundrum
Small
Material and style are wonderful. However, Small Petite too big for me and SX petite is too tight. What’s a 5 4 135lb woman to do. I want jeans but just can’t find what I need. Wondering why waist sizes are different between petite and regular sizes. Makes it hard to order online unless I buy 4 pairs in different size combos.

Love these jeans!
My first Eileen Fisher purchase were these same pair of Jeans, only in the lighter denim blue color. I hadn’t worn jeans in MANY years, and weight loss allowed me to take a chance again on wearing the most comfortable and flattering pair of jeans I could imagine owning. I recently purchased this second pair in the darker color to add to my wardrobe.

Great denim lantern pants
I own every lantern pant EF makes but my favorites are the denim versions. The newest is this black denim version and it does not disappoint. Perfect fit and comfortable. I’m 5’2” at 136 lbs and wear PM. Highly recommend
