Very attractive dressy short jacket
I am going to steam the jacket and not dare to try to iron it as of course it arrived greatly wrinkled. I did not give 5 stars because I think it runs obit small. Perfect for an evening dressy event.

Multipurpose Shine
I am a petite, but this jacket has small armholes and fits well in my petite wardrobe. It’s useful over summer dresses because the color is variable due to the steel and can be worn with both white and cream. The fit feels structured and the sheen is subtle, so it’s a multipurpose garment for three seasons.

Lovely and luminous
I bought this jacket in black and love it. The fabric has a gorgeous sheen and texture, but is still somehow understated, which makes the jacket easy to dress up or down. The photo doesn't do it justice. I hope EF will continue to offer jackets in this fabric; it really is unique -- lightweight, soft, and luminous. Black usually drains color from my face, but this fabric reflects light and is incredibly flattering. Thank you, EF.

Awesome and versatile short jacket
This organic cotton satin steel short jacket is amazingly versatile and adds a touch of class to any outfit. It can be dressed up or down. I ordered the black and loved it so much that I immediately went out and bought the white. It is definitely more true to size than most Eileen Fisher garments. I normally take an XS but in EF usually an XXS. For this jacket, however, the XS was perfect.

Versatile, edgy, and effortless fashion.
Rockstar or 50s old school. Either way, this jacket is sophisticated and edgy and goes with just about anything! I just hope dry cleaning it doesn't get rid of the inherent "wrinkles," as they are what make the jacket spectacular! Runs just a bit large.

Very pretty fabric. I tried on in the store but didn't end up buying. It's cut quite small and short. Not really a comfy throw it on and hang out jacket. If there is ever someplace to go, it is lovely and on the dressier side.

Beautiful short jacket! I always loved the steel jackets and coats that Eileen Fisher puts out. I bought a medium which is true to size. Only thing is that I wished it came together a little more over the front.

Not to be missed!
I usually wear a PM but since this jacket was only offered in S,M,L I took a chance and ordered the M and it fits perfectly. The 3/4 sleeve solves the sleeve length for petites. If you like generously sized jackets order up as this jacket is nicely tailored and true to size. The fabric is elegant, the jacket is lined and pairs nicely with EF crepe silk tops and system pants. I bought both black and bone and I now have ability to mix and match several day to evening classically elegant outfits. I have a lot of EF and this jacket is going to be an all-time favorite.

Beautiful Light- as- a- Feather Jacket
I purchased this satin steel short jacket in white. I don't normally purchase items that must be dry cleaned, but this jacket was just too wonderful to pass up. I spoke to an EF person on the phone to get sizing advice and I'm glad I did as it seems to run small. I often wear a M in most jackets, but for this jacket I needed an "L" (my bust size is 40").
