Was hoping for a longer length.
What I liked. The ponte is a wonderful fabric and I loved the more structured zipper and waist band. The seaweed color is also very nice. What I didn't like, and this was on me. The length says capri and it is a true capri length. I was hoping that the model was tall and at 5'3" the length would be longer on me. This was not the case. Capris are a terrible length for me.

The Perfect Casual Pants
As I’ve gotten older, I really don’t want to wear shorts but I need to be more casual at times, rather than dressed in slacks. These capri pants are the solution for me. They are comfortable, have some stretch, and have deep pockets that you can actually use for your phone or whatever you need to have with you. I have the white ones and will be ordering any other colors they have. They do run a bit large as stated in some other reviews, so I sized down one size. They fit perfect!

Lovely pants … but
These are lovely pants, and the fabric is wonderful — staying crisp yet comfy, but they run a little big and are definitely short. I’m a petite and often order regular sizes of cropped pants and wear them as ankle or long pants. These were definitely cropped, even in the regular sizes.

I love these pants! The fabric weight and finish are great and the fit is forgiving. Handy pockets also. I bought them in Seaweed but would like to buy them in other colors. EF at her best.

Nice fabric, runs large.
These white ponte pants are nice qualtiy fabric, but run really big in the hips and legs. They are okay but not wonderful, I am keeping and will wear but for casual not special as the fit isn't what I hoped.

Bigger than expected
These pants run very large. Buy a smaller size. They are also quite short. Because I am short (5'2"), I often by "ankle" pants and wear them as regular length pants. But even on me, these are mid calf. Other than than that I am satisfied with these roomy, comfortable pants.

Great Weight, Easy Care
I bought this in dark green to go with the dark green linen delave sweater; it coordinates beautifully. It has a firm shape and washes and dries without extra work or shrinkage. That color goes with practically anything--silk or cotton, gold, brown, or beige.

Not for short people
The pants are much longer than they look in the photo. I'm 5'4" and purchased a medium. I sent them back because they were way too big and baggy. Also the material is rather stiff and slightly scratchy. They make a short woman with curves look like a walrus. Unless you're 5'10" or more, find a different pair of pants

Polished, Comfortable White Pants
These pants are comfortable with a good fabric. They don't wrinkle, and wash well. They do run a bit large. My usual size, medium, was very generous; a smaller size might have fit better. I decided to keep them anyway because I like their polished look and good comfort.

Fabric is heavier than I realized, especially for the summer. Wish you made more pants that were full length. Too many styles are cropped or ankle.

Nice style.
I was a little leery buying pants with a zipper front but the style and fit was really nice. Only after wearing them did they feel too big. I have always been in-between sizes for EF pants. I should have ordered both sizes for comparison. I will wash warm and maybe even dry a little to see if it snugs up a bit or take in the elastic waist. I've been looking for white pants and these are nice, especially for a curvy figure. The pockets lay nice and flat which is a pet peeve for me, there is nothing worse than lumpy pockets on knit pants on a curvy figure! Would buy again but maybe try a smaller size, wish i had seen that in the reviews if I had looked back far enough. Reviews are very helpful for me, especially in pants.

Lay Flat to Dry!
I love these new capris! The fit is perfect and they are incredibly comfortable. That said, I guess I did not read the care instructions carefully prior to purchasing them. They are machine washable but must lay flat to dry. I find that a bit annoying.

One of my best Eileen Fisher purchases ever!
I bought these capri pants in black. Followed some of the advice in other reviews and sized down from medium to small (5 foot six 140 lbs). Perfect fit! Smooth cotton is wonderful to the touch. They’re also slimming and look terrific with a wide range of EF tops.

This is a great weight for a white pant-substantial enough to hide leg flaws & has a flattering cut. Dress them up or down- work well under a tunic or with a shorter too

I like that the item actually was capri length, not needing to be hemmed. The stretchy fabric is comfortable and with the tailored waist band and darts it fits smoothly over my hips. I am happy the item can be laundered rather than other ponte fabrics which require dry cleaning.

"Organic Cotton" Ponte
I have returned these pants to you. I think calling them "Organic Cotton" without clearly explaining that they are essentially a cotton/poly blend, is deceiving. I could immediately tell by the feel of the fabric, and so was disappointed....
