A coat for (almost) all seasons and dress codes
For years, I’ve been searching for a rain coat that is warm, has a hood (trench coats don’t!), and dresses up and down. My search is finally over! On its own, this coat is perfect for cooler spring and fall temperatures, but it’s roomy enough to fit a thick sweater or thin down layer for winter. While the models are dressed rather casually, this coat dresses up nicely (especially the black). It goes well with my office attire, and it was the perfect jacket for a recent business trip to New York on a cool, rainy spring day.
I’m 5’1 and 108 lbs and got a PP. It’s a bit too large for my proportions, but I’m too in love to return it. Perhaps I should have gone with an XXS instead. I’ll probably have the sleeves shortened a tad by a tailor.

Great Spring/Fall Coat
I have this jacket in Cassis and I love it. It goes with everything, is a great length and I love that the water resistant exterior has a cozy fleecy lining. Great pockets and a hood too. Really a great in between seasons jacket. I got an XS and it's perfect.

100% PERFECT!
Daughter relocated to MN and I couldn't stand her outerwear! A hodgepodge of hi school/college jackets that didn't fit or serve her purposes any longer. As a new mom she was delaying the purchase of something she really needed. I went ahead and ordered her hooded fleece lined coat since I own 3 different styles. Since arriving she hasn't taken hers off!

Lovely but much too big
I bought an extra small in this coat based on reviews and, unfortunately, it was much too big for my 5’3”, 125 lb. frame. The shoulders fit fine but it was huge in the body. I like a generous fit but this was just too much. I’m sad that it didn’t work out because otherwise, the coat is beautiful.

Warm and Oversized
An oversized silhouette and super warm, due to fleece lining. I liked the quality, but was looking for a spring jacket and suspected it would be warmer than I needed. I think the sizing is accurate, but keep in mind that it will have a lot of volume, due to the cut. The cuffs can be cinched down, which is a nice and practical design feature.

Great transitional jacket.
This is a great jacket for the early spring. The lining makes it perfect for transitional weather. And, the color is unique. The only issue is the sizing. As is true of many Eileen Fisher products lately, this jacket runs very, very large. Although there is a note to order down in size, it would be better to provide accurate sizing so that no one has to guess how low to go when ordering. It would be different if purchases were not being made online but they often are.

Bought on sale, not really needing a jacket, but thinking it seemed to be the perfect in - between item, not for freezing cold, but more than just a raincoat. And in black, always good for travel, dressing up or down. I could not be happier!!!!! It is exactly all that and more, beautiful quality and the fit a bit on larger size, so no need to size up.

Short Sleeves
I have similar coat from a few years back and was looking forward to this updated design. However, I am 5’8” and the sleeves end three inches above my wrists. Overall, it looked like I was wearing a petite size (shortened sleeve and awkward length). The drop shoulder also means that the sleeves are wide and poof out when the button cuff is closed which was not flattering on me. The bottom hem also fell just above mid-thigh. I have had an issue with this season’s tops/tunics being too short which has not previously been the case. This is a beautiful coat, but just didn’t work for me.

Happy Purchase
Like another reviewer I have an old EF coat that is very similar to this. After years of wear, I'm thrilled to discover this new version. I ordered my usual PS but the new EF sizing seems to run large. Fortunately, the PP fits fine, similar to the older PS. It's roomy enough for a medium weight sweater underneath. Great for cool weather but not the coldest. It's comfortable, relaxed. I loved another reviewer's comment that it doesn't make you feel like a sausage. This jacket is very versatile. I opted for the Black since it goes with everything, but the Cassis was pretty, too. I hope, for the price, that it lasts as long as the old jacket.
