An elevated take on the cargo pant. Our best-selling ankle pant with a sculpted
lantern shape and side pockets. In a slubby blend of cotton and hemp that's
garment dyed for a relaxed feel.

- Subtly curved through the leg, slightly tapered at the ankle. Fits the body with ease.

- 5'9" model in Black is wearing a size extra small. Petite model is 5'5" and wearing a size petite small.
- 1 1/2-inch elastic waistband, fly front with zipper and corozo button closure.
- Side panel detail with cargo pockets.
- 11-inch rise; 28-inch inseam; 7 1/2-inch leg opening (size small). 10 1/2-inch rise; 26-inch inseam; 7-inch leg opening (size petite small).

Try a size or two smaller
These can work, the trick is getting the right size. I tried to shrink these pants in the dryer. The circumference of the legs compete with the lack of fluidity in the fabric.

Great pants
I have this pant in three colors, motivated by its comfort and casual good looks. If you want sleek style, this isn’t for you. But it’s comfortable, nicer looking after multiple wearings than any linen, and so very practical for travel and every day. I also got the matching jacket in two sizes smaller than I usually wear. The jacket is huge. Pants, though, are true to size, and for me, have been consistent in construction.

Named incorrectly!
I wasn’t aware that these were cargo pants and not the usual cotton hemp lantern pant fit. So I ordered a black pair and didn’t try them on for months. When I finally tried them on, I found that they were much too small! Especially the waist was super small ( my usual EF pants size is xxs).
So about a week ago, I ordered a pait of these pants in ocen to go with other pieces I have. This time I pulled them out of the package to try on, and FOOLED AGAIN! These are the tiny cargo pants! So I’m returning them and will try the xs. Hopefully the waist will be big enough, but I’m not sure. I’m also sending back the black pants and hopefully they will swap out the size, I can’t wear the xxs and I don’t expect I ever will be that small in the waist.
So, I want to say, Cargo should have been in the name of these pants so I knew they weren’t the regular lantern pants.

I like the lighter weight. Softish material but more structure than knit. Pockets add interest. I think they run larger than my other EF lantern pants. My main gripe is the waist is way higher in the back and so it sort of wrinkles in the middle in a funny way. This is not a problem for my other, knit EF pants, of which I have several.

Love the pants hate the pockets
I bought these a couple months ago and have enjoyed them. However, the pockets are useless. Can't imagine putting anything in them, banging around my legs, and adding to the girth of my thighs is to be avoided! Side seam pockes would be great, or even a patch on the back would be a huge improvement over this rathe awful style.

Great pant. Great look and fabric. I ordered my usual size medium - it was not too big - although I will say I tried on a pair of these in white at Dillards and the medium WAS BIG. Sizing off I guess..............
I await a sale on the black and wheat to add to my wardrobe.

Finally! A casual, comfortable pant from RF!
These pants are exactly what I've been looking for. I bought one pair and then ordered 3 mire. I needed something very casual but elegant with a great fit. I was not looking for something to wear to the office but rather something to look forward to wearing every day. I've wahed and dried them without any particular care and they did not shrink or look faded. Highly reccommended.

Adds Pounds
I really like the material but for the style of pant, it was two stiff….like a stiff sail. If the pants had been a straight-leg rather than the lantern style, I would have kept them. As it is, the stiff fabric and lantern style pant was unflattering and added pounds, which one never likes.

Very nice shape and fit
I purchased the mid- brown khaki color pants and they are a very nice color as depicted. I bought a size medium which I usually buy in EFpants and they fit well, look good but could use a tiny bit more room at the waist. The lantern leg shape works particularly well for me - so if you carry weight in your hips and legs I think these really work and I plan to buy more.

Not for me ; sizing way off
Sizing was off... could barely get these over my hips and rise was too short . I bought my usual size and typically expect hemp to stretch . I really wish EF would do a petite XL . There are many of us older short women with round bodies . It is very noninclusive and a market you are missing. Same for your jeans ... the petite 16 and 18 sell out fast .....
