Black was great but other colors are a bit dull.
I love this dress and had purchased it in black- a great travel dress in a light Ponte that can be dressed up or down. Lots of complements.. However in the charcoal & dull blue it was more generic & formal. The colors also made my skin look dull. They went back.

Comfortable, pockets and refined looking
I had to trade down a size in this even from the usual generous sizing to get a fit closer to what is shown. I love that it has pockets and looks professional. I think it will pack easily for my work trips and enable easy and multi-faceted accessorizing to dress it up or down.

Perfect little black dress!
Love this dress! Fits me perfectly, I'm 5'4" , 189 lbs. and wear a size large. Skims over the body so smoothly, and I can dress it up or down so it's very versatile. The ponte fabric is good for year round for me as I live in hot central California! I think I'm going to get the blue dress too!

All I can say is that this dress is another EF disappointment. It’s huge and the pockets just add more bulk to the hip area. Not sure why this dress has so many positive reviews. My only positives were the length of the dress and the quality fabric used. Returned it.

Just one problem. The neckline is 1/2 to 1 inch too high at the center.

Simple and elegant Ponte Zip Up Dress
I am fairly new to EF, and I am absolutely a fan of the quality and elegance of this dress. The fabric is just heavy enough that it lays well on the body, with no wrinkling, yet it can get well over 100 degrees where I live, and I was very comfortable. I bought the grey, very classy.

Poor fit, thin fabric, too short
After an excellent experience with a plus-sized, ponte knit dress a few seasons ago, I bought this dress in size 3x in both colors (gray and black) hoping it would be a wardrobe staple for me. I was disappointed and will be sending both dresses back.
Although the style appeals to me, this dress is much too short (I want dresses to the knee or just below the knee, not halfway up my thigh). The dress fit oddly, with too much fabric in the underarm area causing the whole dress to sag slightly; I don't think this is something a tailor could fix. Perhaps I should have bought one size down? Finally, the fabric itself felt thin and flimsy, nothing like the robust ponte knit of a couple of seasons ago (when the v-neck style of a short, ponte-knit dress was offered in tan and black). I just cannot see paying full retail price for this. Even if it were to go on sale, I would not buy it again due to the short length and odd fit.
Please, bring back the v-neck, short ponte-knit dress of a few season ago and in more dark, bold, or neutral colors! That is still my favorite and so flattering on a plus size!!!
