Casual sweater
This is a lovely sweater. The material is soft and warm. Two notes: first, size down. It is roomy. Second, the top of the pockets are unfinished. The look is definitely casual.

Fits large, but cozy!
Other reviews were correct that this sweater fits substantially oversized. However, knowing that when ordering I didn’t have any surprises. I was looking for a slouchy casual sweater that could work across seasons and this does the trick. It reminds me a little of a vintage one I used to borrow from my dad’s closet! Got it on sale which helped justify the cost.

I’ve been wearing this repeatedly!
Super soft, oversized, so comfortable, could size down if prefer less oversized. I generally wear an XS or PS, but XS wasn’t available so ordered a PS and though it’s a bit oversized, it’s awesome.

Just a perfect "comfie' cardigan.
The fabric is so rich feeling and the shade of blue goes with nearly everything I own. I've worn it several times over leggings but I know I'll wear it with jeans as well. The pockets aren't smooth but it fits with the casual look. After allergies appeared while wearing wool and a few other fabrics I'm grateful for Eileen Fisher's cotton, cashmere, and silk options. This cardigan just makes me feel loved.

Comfortable sweater

More Weird Stuff from Eileen Fisher
I keep ordering stuff and then finding that the fit has NO connection to with the sizing (S, M, L, etc). I order a size M (I'm 5'5, 140 lbs) & find that it is huge. What I would consider a XXL, not wearable for me. And bizarre pockets, collars, sleeves! So I send the stuff back & try again. The cycle will end as soon as I spend the $450 gift cards I've used & reused for the past couple of years, trying to find something that works. I have so many beautiful EL pieces that I've worn for years but I find that EF is no longer for me, it never fits & it's too much work.
