Not comfortable or stylish
I didn’t find these boots comfortable since the top across the front of the ankle is a very rigid leather. I also didn’t think they were particularly stylish. There was nothing special about them that would warrant the price.

Absolutely perfect
I have 3 yes three pair of these because I’m afraid of wearing them out. I have arthritis in my feet and have problems finding true comfort. These are so comfortable and well made. I wish they came in brown also.

Excellent shoe just size up.
Be sure to order up as the beautiful leather is quite tight. Unfortunately it did work for my feet. Gorgeous shoe and excellent quality work.

Best boots. Just buy them.
This is my second pair. These are so comfortable and the style is in a perfect sweet spot between boots and stylish shoes. Strange but true. The are a little more timeless that combat boots or other ankle boot styles. Great with pants or dresses.

Much too narrow :(
Tried US sizes 6.5, 7, and 7.5 (typically a US Size 6.5) and all were too narrow. Unfortunate, as I love the style. I have narrow ankles and the ankle and inside of the boot fit nicely, but once you put weight on your foot, the edge of the platform dug into the bottom of my foot. They're fine if you sit but not realistic.

Cute but slid off my feet
I loved the look of it, but they slid right off the back of my foot every time I walked. It wasn’t too big and I have other pairs of boots in a similar style that don’t do this. So disappointing!

Gorgeous shoe. Nearly perfect in its shape, comfort, material (not too shiny, not too weatherworn) except that I’m a solid size 8 and it was too big. My heel kept popping up.

Elegant Chelsea boot
If your looking for an elegant Chelsea boot that’s more urban/less farm this is it! It’s also super comfortable, I told my friends it feels like wearing sneakers. It has a slight lift in the heel which I really appreciate. The leather is soft and and black is very pure-goes with everything black. Easy to slip on and off. I’m usually an 8 narrow and the 8 fits pretty well, I wish it were a tiny bit more narrow, but it’s perfect in thick socks, and I know I’m in the minority who prefer narrow. Can be casual or more dressy, and great for the cold. Thanks for making a perfect not-clunky Chelsea boot!

Love these Boots
I have worn these boots for years - to work, shopping, out with friends- everywhere. They truly can dress an outfit up or down and are just so comfortable. I decided to purchase a second pair as my current Chelseas have seen many, many miles and are probably ready for a break. My new pair fits the same and appear to be of the same high quality. I will keep my new pair as my "dressy" pair and continue wearing my current boot as I just can't part with them. For sizing, I ordered my usual EF size and they are perfect.

Did not work for me
I absolutely love these boots, but the ankle is too narrow for me (I am 5’ 4” & 125 lbs), but my ankles sometimes swell a bit and the rigid edge was too hard. Unfortunately I sent them back. I hope EF makes a soft edge boot in exactly the same style.

FABULOUS BOOTIE!
This is the most amazing bootie around. I purchased a pair about 6 years ago at an Eileen Fisher store. In the fall and winter I wear them almost every day. They are extremely comfortable and show no signs of wear after all this time but I got another pair because I never want to be without these booties! LOVE

Mudkicker, meet smart professional woman!
My job as as Architect takes me from Conference Room to Design Center to the muddy jobsite. This shoe is my new answer to all of the above! Sophisticated, warm, iconic Chelsea. EF does it again, Love Love Love. Size is right on, heel is not too high, leather looks amazing, wool elastic detailing and chucky wedge makes this Chelsea stand out from the rest. Comfort all around.

Comfortable and stylish
Bought this in black. Love the look. Very comfortable. My only complaint: I can tell the rubber sole is going to wear down quickly. I can see this already at the sole and I’ve only had these a few weeks. That in itself makes these not very environmentally sustainable. I would rather pay more and have them last longer. It is possible. I have a pair of twenty year old Stuart Weizmann boots that I wear all the time and I have never had to change the rubber sole.
