Too narrow.
I love the sandal, but the straps are too narrow. I know they will hurt my feet so I am returning. I have normal width feet.

Poor fit for me
I REALLY hated returning these. They are very cute, plus I got them on sale. I couldn't keep them on my feet and they rubbed my big toe. I have a high instep so it could have been the shape of my feet.

Disappointed
I wear Eileen Fisher shoes and boots on a regular basis. They have always been a favorite of mine and a definite go to for all needs. I have onlly had these slides a week, wore them twice and they are falling apart. Not the quality I expect from Eileen Fisher.

Couldn't get foot into slide
The cross straps were so narrow I could not get shoe on. I do not have a wide foot.

Nice sandals
These sandals fit well and are comfortable. But they do need a break in time. They caused sore spots on the inside edge of cross straps. I had a similar problem with another style of EF sandals but after awhile they softened up and this is my third summer wearing them so I consider it worth the effort with this new pair.

Beautiful shoe that didn't fit
I gave this slide an excellent rating because it is a beautiful, well-made shoe, but unfortunately it slides around on my foot. It pinches at one spot--but I think that would stretch with wear. But if it stretches anymore I won't be able to wear comfortably. I had to return.

Absolutely unwearable - my feet are covered in blisters!
I wanted to love these but the stitching on the leather upper is AWFUL and SHARP - cuts into my feet when I walk and leaves deep gashes. Wish I could return these, as they were so expensive, but I have bandaged them up with moleskin to try to take down the chafing (it didn’t work) and so am stuck likely throwing these 200$ shoes away. Very disappointed!

The stitching on the inside of the shoe is sharp and abrasive.
I bought these for comfort but can’t wear them without bandaids. They look great but the strap edges cut into my feet with every step. If I had known, I would have returned them before wearing them out.

Cape Slide
One of three pairs of shoes I ordered; this slide was way too big in 9.5. Going to order in 9 and see if it works. Other shoes were too small at 9.5. Go figure!
Lusted after this style last year after seeing similar design in Neiman Marcus catalog, but couldn't find style 'til now. Looks good with all summer casual clothes, whether slacks, jeans or skirts, so going to reorder and hope it fits in a 9.

beautiful shoes
Before I bought these shoes I read the reviews. I loved the look of the shoe, but was concerned that so many people felt the top portion of the shoe was of poor quality and that the shoe would cause blisters. I have been buying EF summer sandals for years and these are very similar. I bought the off white ones and they are even more lovely in person. That being said, it will take a while to break them in. They are not the kind of shoes that you can put on and go out for a day of walking. I had the same initial problem with the two pairs I bought last year and have since worn out. The top leather is very fine and will become very soft and molded to my foot over time. Right now I am wearing them in the house. They are very true to size.

An Essential For My Wardrobe.

Basic Slide
I like this slide and wanted a color for summer so ordered the orange. Great color that goes with an amazing number of things once I started looking in my "Eileen" closet. The inside is a bit rough and I am not sure I can walk for long periods without an issue so I only rated good for style and quality.

Materials not comfortable
I've had various Eileen Fisher shoes over the past few years - all well made, very comfortable and lovely to wear. These are not. The cross straps were not smooth, they dug into the tops of my feet in multiple spots - a recipe for blisters! - so back they must go.

an exquisite flipflop
I adored these when I saw them online. The blood orange color was gorgeous. From the picture, I had the impression that the uppers would be more substantial and more sandal-like. They were very soft and comfortable, but less unique (and hence less worth the price to me) than I had imagined.
