Cute and Comfortable
I wasn’t planning on buying a new pair of pants but when I tried these (size PM) on in the store they looked cute and fit me so comfortably that I decided I should have them.
I machine washed them on the delicates cycle and ironed them on the reverse as suggested and they still look and fit great.

Brushed Organic Cotton Arch Pant
I have this in Rye and in Ebony, colors I am able to pair with other neutral colors. The pants are warm for the chillier temps, and Size Small fits me perfectly. Great with booties or loafers, cuffed or not, the look is great and the Arch is not over exaggerated.

Fabric over style
I’m not a fan of the arch pant but the brushed cotton fabric is a winner for me. I prefer lantern or straight leg as I’m short and extra fabric around my legs is not flattering but I love the comfort.

Not For Me
Beautiful pants by Eileen Fisher, as usual. The fabric is thick which make legs look bulky👎🏻 Had to return.

Quality Clothing
As always, Eileen Fisher has produced a beautiful pair of pants. Much of the delight of them is in the feel of them in your hands. There's nothing like the feel of really good quality clothing and it's always better to purchase one really good pair of pants than a dozen cheap imitations. I have always taken the price of the item and divided it by how many times I have worn them for a "price per wearing" figure. Those cheap "bargins" start to show up as the rip off they really are!

I like this new shape.
These are a nice alternative to the slim leg pants and skinny jeans I wear. I'm 5'2 with a large waist so anything fuller makes me feel short and squat. They're very comfortable. They taper nicely at the ankle. I was worried that the pockets would add bulk to my waist - but they don't - they're nice and flat. These pants are very well constructed and I'm happy I tried them.

I bought a second pair
Thank you for petite sizes! I was so happy with the fit and style of the first pair, that I bought a pair in another color. Happy to have an alternative to jeans.

Fabric too stiff
For plus size, the fabric was just too stiff. It made the legs look like balloon animals, especially around the knees. That didn’t go at all with the top and waist style.

Utility Pant
I view and wear these as a utility pant. At first touch they felt like velvet or a short corduroy. I also dry them in the dryer and they come out beautifully.

Medium P fits me perfectly. I’m 5’4” and weigh 165
The most important thing about these pants and many other items is that they are offered in P. The perfect length for me.

Oh the color!
These are velvety and soft. The color is so different but very versatile. Taupe, gray, brown, and almost an aubergene undertone. Works with so many colors!

Nice fabric, too wide
I liked the fabric, brushed twill was soft and elegant. But the arch leg was too wide for my 5’3” frame. A little too clown like for me. I like the lantern leg best.

Arch pant
I liked color and fabric of the pant, brushed cotton and that is why I bought them. The arch style, for me did not work. As compared to the style of lantern pant, a very successful cut, these pants for me at least, made me look bowed legged. There is a seem around the knee that directs each leg inward creating the arch look. I decided to return them

A great cool weather staple
I'm wearing these pants now in the ebony color--a lovely gray. They are super comfortable and flattering. I usually wear a petite small. I found that the XS fit best in this style. I will reach for these often during cooler weather.

AN UNUSUAL RETURN TO EF
I love the Lantern pant and thought this would be very similar. Unfortunately, the legs were way too baggy throughout and the fabric a bit bulky. I bought my usual size (PS). Probably half of my closet is EF, and rarely do I ever return anything. This style just didn't work for me.

JOINED THE RUSH TO THE NEW PROFILE .... BUT .....
I know that this new profile is extremely popular, but it's going to take me time to get used to the look. I'm more comfortable with a more form-fitting pant and loose top than the other way around. Even going down to a size XS from my usual S, the fabric seems too ample through the legs, especially in a fabric that has little drape. Overall, I like the texture that is more "outdoorsy" than most of my EF pants, which was my objective with this purchase. Love the Rye color!

Don’t work for me
I’m 5”1, 105 pounds. I bought these pants in PP and they seemed okay until I washed them.Horrible.
The waist is too small and the pants are enormous. The fabric is also strange. As soon as I wash them again they’ll go directly to
the donate pile. It seems that EF is offering very few choices for petite women. That’s okay because I’m completely done with the watered down brand.

Absolutely LOVE these pants, EXCEPT...
I just bought these pants and already want to wear them everyday. When I tried them on for the first time (Petite Small) they felt instantly so comfortable and fit like they were made for me, no hemming required and I love the subtle elastic waistband. I almost don't even care that they aren't the most figure-flattering pants but the unfortunate part is that I feel like they totally COULD BE if they just had back pockets. From the front and side they look much nicer, but the rear view would be so much improved with a cute set of back pockets.

Not a Winner
Loved the color and the fabric. Disliked the Arch pant as the darts in the knee made the leg below the knee too full and did not hang well. Wish this color and fabric were available in the Lantern pant.
