Gorgeous Boucle Jacket for all Seasons

Doubles as a bathrobe
I put it on an asked my husband, "What do you think?" He said, "What is it? A bathrobe?" For fit: true to fit. I bought an XL I range in EF from an XL to a 1X and it fit fine. The sleeves are oddly short though--so be aware. Not 3/4 length, but somewhere between that and regular wrist length. It's soft enough and comfortable. The interior is not the same texture as the exterior--also a bit odd and somewhat unattractive.

Not happy with this purchase, sad to say. Loved the Boucle fabric, but sleeves too short and fit more like a bathrobe. Not chic.. Had to return.. very. disappointed.

Very disappointed
I have several Eileen fisher coats & love them all. This was a big disappointment. When I first opened the package, I could believe how flimsy light the fabric was. I had been attracted to it because it’s wool and it has a hood and the length was supposed to be below my knees. The description said it was lightweight but I thought with the snaps and an extra layer worn underneath, it would be ok. I was not expecting just how light it would be. When I put it on, I first noticed how short the sleeves were. I thought maybe I had misread the description and missed that it had bracelet sleeves. I did not. Then I noticed how short it is. The model is 5’9” & the length on her XS was noted at 40 1/2”. The size S I received measures only 37”. Perhaps someone before me had washed it & it shrunk the coat length & the sleeve length? I’m so disappointed! Buyer beware. This feels like a spring jacket, certainly not like a winter wool jacket. For reference only, I am 5’4” & 130 lbs.
