I really like this dress!
The fabric has a pleasant heft to it.
I think it’s going to be great for wearing a turtleneck or a light weight blouse underneath.
I’m 78 years old, and short at 5’1.5”.

Nice heavy weight fabric, but not scratchy!
Love the fabric! It's a weighty, tight-knit wool that has a smooth hand and drapes beautifully. At 5' tall (PP or XXS), this dress is a midi length on me. I layer it with a dressy, black beaded sweater and heels, and have a quietly elegant ensemble for church and slightly dressier affairs. This simple dress is absolutely a classic piece that will remain in style for decades.

If you’re a potato, you’ll love it!
The entirety of my wardrobe is Eileen Fisher, so I write this as one who loves her clothes: this dress was like wearing a potato sack. It was scratchy, shapeless, and the completely wrong proportions.

I got the 2x to make sure the armholes would be big enough. It is a VERY generous sizing. More comfortable.
