Warm in Winter with Classic Styling
If you’re like me and tend to be chilly in winter, this is the answer. These pants are a perfect fit and not cropped like so many pants are these days. They’re very sleek, too, so can dress up when you need to look super sharp. They are not what I’d call “wide leg” but also not tapered—classic styling that will never be passé.

These pants drape so nicely, are so comfortable and add warmth for winters without being hot. I had to get them hemmed and love the maroonish color I ordered. Flattering and comfortable = win win!

Beautiful pants
The finish on the wool is very soft and they fall elegantly, full length. Both the fabric and the length are much needed when the occasion is professional dressing. They would also pair with silk or satin for dinner dates and parties. My only small complaint is that the color nocturne is not the same deep navy of the same named cashmere bliss sweater, which I bought together. The pant is definitely like deep iris.

Close to perfect
I am a fan of full length pants and boiled wool and this hit both. The legs were a little too wide for my taste but better than most I have tried. When they are too wide it looks frumpy to me.

The fabric has some give to it. I would purchase a size smaller in future. The boiled wool pants are warm—better for winter than my stretch crepe EF pants-even in Los Angeles.

Sublime Perfection
After reading the reviews about how luxurious and flattering these pants are, I wanted to order the full - not ankle - length version of these pants in both Black and Woodland in a Petite Small. Unfortunately, neither of those colors were available in my size, so I took a chance and ordered the Woodland, which was available in a Women's Small in the ankle-length version, along with a pair of the Lilou Wedge Chelsea Boot. To my delight, the pants fit beautifully, and the length was just right with the booties. Since others discussed the stretchy nature of the fabric, I decided to order the same pants in a Women's XS. The fit was PERFECT! These pants sophisticated looking; they drape well, and are a joy to wear! I love the smooth wool fabric against my skin. I highly recommend!!!

I love the fit and feel of this pant! The boiled wool is substantial quality and wonderfully warm, yet the feel/drape is so soft and lightweight. That is why I am so happy they are NOT lined. It is so hard to find unlined wool pants for those with sensitivities to synthetic linings. Last but not least, I appreciate finding full length pants that are classic and versatile for casual or dress wear in cold weather. I am so tired of everything being an ankle cut, for fall/winter wear, especially when you are 5'8." I am roughly 130 lbs and I ordered the XS. Perfect fit! These fall and hit just right over shoes. I have the black, which has a beautiful, rich depth. Can't wait to get the "chalk" color next.

I love EF’s 696 pant but other styles can be a hit or miss. THIS pant is a HIT. The color (chalk), the texture, the LENGTH, are all perfect.

Beautiful Fabric
Just love how it flows. I expected to prefer the cropped version but found the full length version worn with pointy toe booties more elongating and flattering. Though I prefer pants with side pockets this was not the design. Overall a prize, so I ordered a second pair at a reduced price which quickly sold out.

Near Perfect
Hooray! A full length pant with gorgeous drape and clean shape - no pockets to add bulk, back and side darts and a side zip for a smooth waist. The 11 inch rise keeps everything covered. The light weight, boiled wool fabric feels scrumptious and provides warmth. Thank you Eileen Fisher for finally bringing back a full length winter pant. These are near perfect. To be perfect, these need to be washable in my opinion.
For reference I am 5'9", jean size 30-31, 36B. I took my normal EF size Medium.
I would love to see some other colors AND these, and other pants, offered in a tall inseam. You provide petit options. How about you take care of us tall gals? We cannot add length to pants that are too short making your many ankle pants problematic for us. Please.

Well worth the price!
Beautiful drape, I love the side zip an high waist! Although I am 5'3" the PM was too short, I went with a Small and had them taken up an inch. I ordered a second pair in case these are discontinued.

Remember full length pants?!
Now that I’ve finally figured our how to wear cropped pants in winter without freezing (minimum 4” shaft on bootie), EF offers us this gorgeous full length pant. Same soft non-itchy fabric and clean lines as its cropped cousin, i now own both lengths, and will probably be very grateful for these come February. Purchased usual EF MED.
