Color does not appear as on the website
I was so thrilled to order these pants on sale and purchased the Quince color. On my cell phone, iPad, and two computers, the color appears to be a beautiful golden yellow. When I received them, they were a putrid, pale olive green. I’m wondering if the color was mis-labeled because what I received looked more like the butternut. Anyway, they were soft, fit beautifully, but I had to return because the color definitely does not work with my skin tone. I might try my luck with another color.

Nice wool pants
Very nice pants. I am 5’3.5”, and bought an XXS which fits nice throughout. It grazes the top of my foot and will be perfect with a boot with heel.

The pants are much longer than they appear in the photo. They go way past the ankle. I selected my usual size and they felt comfortable when I first put them on. I wore them to dinner and by the end of the evening it felt like they would fall off me. I like the classic texture of the material, but they seemed to pill a bit with one wear. Overall, I’m quite dissatisfied. I feel like my last few purchases from EF have been disappointing.

Super soft . I love EF boiled wool stuff . I have shirts , and 2 coats already . I am usually a size L but took a medium in these. Very flattering and can’t wait to wear. Bot 1/2 price so I was really super thrilled I got them

Great cool weather slacks and new neutral color
Love the feel of these wool slacks and am excited for the cool weather to enjoy looking good and being warm. The color was not my first choice but once I got it home I realized I have at least ten blouses and jackets that work perfectly with it! I do still, however, find a thinner waistband more comfortable.

Great Cool Weather Pant!!
I normally take a large in everything EF but this time I required an extra-large. That's my only complaint. I returned them for the extra-large. Otherwise I'd give them a 5-star rating.

Really Nice Wool
I wanted to love these pants. The wool is soft with a nice hand. Unfortunately the fit isn’t for me. I love the lantern pants. They just work for my body type.

Love these but they stretch with prolonged sitting
I loved these pant and wore them throughout most of the winter, and then, I wore them during a plane flight. I put them on for the return flight only to discover that they had stretched out to the point of being unwearable through the hips. They did regain their shape with considerable steaming, however.

Wool pants like you've never imagined
100% wool has never felt so soft and luxurious. I've worn Eileen Fisher pants for 25 years and never purchased a fully wool style. What a mistake! These feel so comfortable, as do all her pants, but they have more shape and sophistication. I am short 5'3, so the length is perfect. They might be a little short for a taller woman. The zipper and waistband are so beautifully sewn and easy to manage. I recommend them highly.

Ankle Length
Pay attention ladies, Eileen Fisher is offering 2 different pants under the same name. Watch what you order. The full length pants (Style No. F1BOE-P4594) are only offered in black boiled wool in a 30.5 inch inseam. I purchased those in a retail location. The ankle length pants in dark cranberry (Style No. F1BOE-P4624) and butternut are in the same fabric but a shorter length, 28.5 inch inseam. These I ordered on-line. The colored pants have the same gorgeous drape and clean shape - no pockets, back and side darts and a side zip for a smooth waist. The 11 inch rise keeps everything covered. The light weight, boiled wool fabric feels scrumptious and provides warmth. I wish all colors were offered in the full length option. Additionally, I wish EF could develop this fabric for hand washing, not dry clean.
For reference I am 5'9", jean size 30-31, 36B. I took my normal EF size Medium.
I would love to these, and other pants, offered in a tall inseam. EF provides petit options. How about you take care of us tall gals? We cannot add length to pants that are too short making your many ankle pants problematic for us.

Great Fabric, Rich Color
As usual, these EF pants did not disappoint. Rich color, lovely fabric and fit to perfection. I would have given them five stars but there was one down side, they don't work well with panty hose! They cling and loose their beautiful shape. I have to use long wool socks instead. Oh well.

Simply Lovely Pants
I bought 2 of these pants in extra small and they fit perfectly. I'm 105 lbs and 5'6. I wear them with a pair of leggings underneath. They are warm and light in weight and I love the look. Worth every penny. I may buy a 3rd pair, just in case they become unavailable in the future.

Perfect winter pants
I have these in two colors now and would live in them if I could. They are soft, flattering, and work with many types of outfits. I’ve worn the black ones probably 20 times so far without dry cleaning and they still look great—I just hang them near the steamy shower every few wears for a pick-me-up. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 210 lbs, size 14-16 and the large fits great.

don't like the fit or the fabric. runs small. prefer a jersey with some stretch as I sit most of the day for work and such a structured fabric is not comfortable.
