Comfortable and stylish
Allergic to some wool garments, this jersey jacket does not cause discomfort. On the contrary. It is very comfortable. The cut elevates my look. The weight will serve me well in my climate for both Spring and Fall. And, for my wardrobe, it is easy to wardrobe.

Stunningly beautiful lightweight coat!
Sumptuous fabric. Dense but very flexible. Smooth as good silk yet has a springy texture. I looked at it for a year and kept returning to it, but I did not need another coat. I finally just said, "life's short, etc" and got it when on sale and I'm so happy I did. My instincts were correct. Fits perfectly in my usual EF size. Hangs well. Serpentine color goes with many colors except in the true green range. Pops with dark reds, navy, black, ivory, purple, many pinks, and most grays. Lightweight. Drapes nicely. Unlined. Will take a thinner sweater underneath, and I sized up one size for a thick sweater as I live in a cold state. This is a stunningly beautiful coat.

Length and fabric
Love the cut and color. I’m 5’4” and the length is about 3 inches too long on me. The fabric is stiffer than I expected so I don’t think it can be altered

Slightly Different than other EF BW Jackets
I have three other boiled wool EF jackets that I absolutely love, I expected this one to be of similar weight, but it is quite a bit lighter and seems to be more of a wool broadcloth than boiled wool. I realize it's wool jersey, so that may be the reason for the lighter weight. I still like it and the color is wonderful, but am reserving final judgment until I wear it more and see if it measures up to my other boiled wool jackets.

High Collar Jacket great for layering
A few years ago I bought the Eileen Fisher long Wool Jersey Vest and loved it for layering. I like this Boiled Wool Jacket even more as the wool is softer and I can wear through 3 of 4 seasons. I bought the pima cotton pants in the same color but the jacket goes with several pieces in my wardrobe. I have gotten several compliments when wearing this jacket to business and other events.

Works for petite
Great fit. Flows beautifully and can upgrade any outfit. Can be dressed up or down. Originally bought it to go with the matching boiled wool full leg pants (cropped). Looks great with many other options. Love it with the lantern pants.

Lots of compliments!
I really like this version of the boil wool fabric. It feels more flexible and finer, which I appreciate. This duster runs more true to size as opposed to the normally oversized EF fit.

Too much fabric!
I so wanted to like this coat style jacket but it just had too much fabric for my petite frame. The light color and weight of the boiled wool are perfect for southern California! I have several other EF pieces in this fabric that I love but this one just did not work for me. Sad!
