Classic blazer in a beautiful fabric!
I love the clean, simple lines of this blazer and the fabric is lovely (I'm a big fan of EF's boiled wool jersey). I ordered the Nocturne colorway (what I call midnight navy) to wear with a pair of EF boiled wool jersey wide-leg pants. I'm usually an XS in EF sizing, so I ordered the XS and the XXS for comparison, since another reviewer wrote that the blazer runs a bit large. She was correct, and I ended up keeping the XXS. Even with my slightly broad shoulders, it's a perfect fit. For reference, I'm 5'6", 141 lbs., bust 34B.

Woolen jacket
This jacket is a great example of EF’s design- colour, fabric and style. I always select from the collection with colour first. EF manages to bring out interesting and modern textiles with great fit.

A versatile classic
I have two of these blazers in different colors. The light-weight boiled wool fabric is superb for fall through spring. I only wish that these blazers were designed with a back vent.

Versatile, flattering garment
This garment has lots of things going for it--classic styling, a flattering length, and lovely fabric. I found it ran a little large, but that may just be my taste in styling. The real problem for me is my extremely narrow shoulders; no matter what the size, the shoulders just didn't fit, so I (reluctantly) returned it.

it's wrinkled! curiously doesn't feel like wool feels more like cotton - it's very dark so hard to determine the color but it's comfortable so after i take it to be pressed i will enjoy wearing it

Wonderful versatile boiled wool blazer
I am so pleased with the Boiled wool blazer. The shorter boxy length suits my shorter stature. The soft nocturnal color is less edgy than the black and will blend well with varieties of grays and even black. I have had other boiled wool jackets from Eileen Fisher that have remained classic for many years. It will accessorize very well. Timeless, sustainable-perfect!

Beautiful Jacket but Question Fit
I am trying to decide if I will keep this jacket. Just received in the beautiful white/pearl gray color a few days ago. The quality of the material is wonderful, just not sure about the size. I am 5ft 5 inches tall and weight 162 and ordered a small. The fit is to be easy but it seems too large on me; the shoulders are a bit off the shoulder. The length is good for me, just a little below the waist. May try an XS because I love the color, material etc.

Elegant and flattering
I bought the shorter jacket and full-length pants in bone and black, and they fit perfectly. The look is elegant and the drape is impeccable. Wonderful, soft fabric. Lovely colors. The bone color is a stunner with grey hair. The pants are long enough to wear with flats or a low heel (I'm 5'9" and 163 lb and bought a medium in jacket and pants).

Right size bad fit
Like the color. Ordered PS that is corect size but didnt like the fit. Returned. May try the shorter blazer.
