While the grey are still a bit stiff, which necessitate me wearing socks with them for comfort, the black are breaking in beautifully. I have been wearing them mostly home without the need for socks. I love the way they look with jeans and cropped pants particularly. I have bunions, and they are not an issue in these mules due to the wide footbed. I love them!

Although I'm keeping the size 8 gray flannel mules, which I purchased on sale, a half size up would have been better. I purchased them to wear indoors, at home. With Eileen Fisher shoes, of which I have many, I always wear a size 8 very comfortably. My feet run regular to narrow, these are still a bit narrow–a bit hard on the sides and run short. My feet hit the side edges and back of the heel. Barefoot the hard sides irritated my feet, however with a thin sock it was okay. I'm used to wearing Birkenstocks with a similar inner sole structure. I'm hoping that they soften and that the flannel gives a bit with wear, for greater comfort. Fingers crossed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ktdid from Promising I was looking for a supportive slip on house shoe and tried the flannel Bios mule. I have many Eileen Fisher shoes and I've always taken a 71/2 in the brand. I needed to exchange the pair of 71/2's I bought for an 8 because I felt this shoes ran a little short. It has an anatomical footbed and one doesn't want ones heels resting right on the edge of such a sculpted footbed. I also wanted to make room to wear my fuzzy socks in them so that when I kick them off my feet won't freeze.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lezlie from Cute but…. I love the soft flannel upper and the cork sole (it has just enough give to make them comfortable. They look really cute with ankle length pants. My only complaint is that they cut into the top of my foot - I do have a high instep so it might just be my foot. So I don’t wear them when I am walking any distance. Perhaps they will stretch a bit over time. That is why I give them a 4star instead of 5.
