Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Perfect swing-shape/length- My fav “go-to” coat! I love this coat! Soft soft soft with silky lining, and a wonderful comforting weight to it. Super warm without ever feeling too “hot”, stuffy or bulky…. I like that it somehow seems to have a nice drape to it; and it’s swing shape leaves plenty of room at my abdomen, butt and hips, while not overly wide in back or shoulders, nor too tall in torso (all of which is a problem in most coats, for me, when I have to size up to accommodate my middle…). I did need to have sleeves shortened about 1.5” at my tailor, as I am just 5’ 1” and needed the large for my hips/derrière. So in that sense, I do wish it had been made in petite sizing, (which for some reason was indeed available in the longer dress-coat version. More on that:) This may sound crazy but I also purchased essentially the same coat in the full length length which IS offered (2022/2023) in petite sizing…. But was only avail in a pale grey (which isn’t as flattering as this dark charcoal grey, as the dull pale grey truly “washes me out”), but it, for some reason was indeed avail in Petite sizing; and is needed when I have a dress to wear. So I indulged in both, but will say the shorter “car-coat” length in the flattering dark charcoal, as reviewer here, is my daily “go-to” coat about town. Investing in both coats seemed like a guilty indulgence at the time, but they are both staples for me, and as a woman who struggles to find coats that fit, I am so glad I did! Between the high-quality lining and the thick alpaca, this coat is surprisingly very wonderfully warm. Doesn’t let the wind through when I am out and about like some car coats…. Also fyi, I do not find the alpaca scratchy (maybe only a teeny-tiny bit l, but not really too palpably so, as some alpaca can be), because it is such a soft blend and the lining is so silky and soft…. And overall this coat feels absolutely luxurious to me to wear. This coat feels like a kind, therapeutic, and loving “snuggle” every time I put it on, even if I am going out in the cold; it just works perfectly and I am thankful for this coat!

This coat is absolutely perfect. It's lightweight yet warm and comfortable. I love EF & I love my new coat!

I did size down to xxs for a more streamlined look. I usually wear xs in EF jackets but this one seemed a little too wide in the larger size. The xxs is a perfect fit and still has room for a winter sweater underneath. Woo hoo! Got it on sale!

Took it out of the packaging and was surprised at how heavy it felt but as soon as I put it on it felt so comfortable and cozy. The alpaca is silky smooth as is the lining. Love the charcoal color which will complement many other colors, I am typically between a medium and large so bought both. The medium fit but a little snug under the arms but the large was a perfect fit. Will be wearing this weekend for sure. Yes, it is not inexpensive but was able to buy it from a major department store who offered a Friends and Family discount though I might have bought it anyway at full price-is is that beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MG&9 from Soft and warm This coat is beautifully and generously cut. I generally wear a 1x and I have a triangle shape which I take in to account with coats. I took a chance with xl because the 1x was out of stock. There is plenty of room for layers and still have a loose comfortable fit. The material is soft, the cut nicely flattering and all the seams are well constructed.
