- Luxurious loops of light, fine alpaca. Warm and silky to the touch. Alpaca is a light, hollow fiber that adds warmth without bulk or weight. Ours comes from herds high in the Andes. Spun, dyed and woven in Peru.

Beautiful alpaca winter coat
Beautiful sustainable luxurious wool. I like the classic style but on petite frame , the coat is overwhelming. I decided not to return it because for a cold winter evening it will definitely keep me warm!

It is not what I expected. It doesn't fit well, baggy and at the shoulder very large. The color was not what I was looking for. It was neither chic nor elegant on me. It seemed very warm.

This coat is extremely extremely heavy weight BUT absolutely beautiful. It gives me the vintage look that I wanted. I purchased an XL and the fit is perfect. I am 6’0 and the sleeve length is perfect. I have plenty of room to wear a jacket or cardigan without the tightness. I love the classy look of coats back in the 50’s and 60’s and this coat gives me that rich classy look. I am in the South and cannot wait to wear this on a cold winter day. It’s hard to find classy beautiful clothing BUT Eileen Fisher you did it with this. I love alpaca fabrics and will have this for many years. Also I just ordered the maple oat color. A lady need many coats. Thank you for this sale!

Absolutely gorgeous, but what's with the sizing?
This coat is gorgeous; the color is beautiful, the weight is perfect and the sleeves are long enough. Great, right? Well, I tried on a size S in the store and subsequently ordered in online. I received an S for petites instead, and it fits great. I am 5-11 and 170 pounds!!! So if you are truly petite, this may not be for you. I love mine though.

This coat is a luxurious hug. It is incredibly soft, beautifully thick, wonderfully soft on the outside with a smooth satin lining inside. It is totally worth it. It looks fantastic on - totally timeless, like the best of EF, and upgrades everything it goes over. It is warm, which is great in the damp, chilly Seattle weather. This coat will be beautiful going out with my husband during the holidays, and looks really chic with jeans and sneakers going to my casual office. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.
I purchased this coat in Nocturne - the deep dark navy with a hint of purple in some light. The color is beautiful and versatile. The fit is exactly true to size for EF. My usual size fit great, with room for a warm sweater underneath when the weather is cold but without any impression of excess fabric.
This is a beautiful garment that I will be wearing for years to come, and it will feel like a wonderful indulgence each time I pull it on. Totally, totally worth it.

Fabulous coat
My coat is the cream and I am very pleased with it. It's warm, not too heavy, cozy and frankly exquisite. I am 5'5" and weigh 135. The tag on mine says PP/PS and even though it's long, it's perfect for wearing with skirts and boots, jeans, and slacks. Very versatile in other words.

I bought this coat as a birthday gift to myself, it is stunning. It is an A-line shaped coat so some may want to size down, but with Eileen Fisher I usually take an XL, and it was perfect for me. It has the perfect weight and length. I can wear a heavy sweater underneath and still feel comfortable. It is rare to find a coat this classic and timeless at this price point. I will definitely be getting the shorter collarless version. Love this!!!

I love how comfortable this coat feels. I purchased the Cream color and will have to return becasue the coast sheds too much. I tried the coat on with a black shirt and when I took it off the hair was all over. I do love the fit but hate the shedding.

Beautiful, but very big and heavy coat
I received this coat yesterday. It is gorgeous. Really, really heavy. I was surprised and impressed that is lined. I am 5'4" and about 105 pounds. The petite petite was way too much coat for me, so I'm sending it back. It's stunning, though. If you are a tall person in a cold climate I'd consider it.
