Wanted to love
I bought this pant in my normal size fit was generous not snug in the rear. However the first day I wore them the seam completely split in the seat. The fabric while light and airy is just too thin to allow for any give or friction.

Very cool!
I wore these pants for the first time today, when the high temperature was 99 degrees. They are the most comfortable hot-weather pants I've ever had. I am thrilled to have full coverage on my legs without feeling baked alive.

Not up to EF Standards
I wear EF almost exclusively and have done so for decades. I bought these pants in indigo in size PS. They were nicely sewn, as one expects with EF products. The description said something about "light" and "drape-y," but, alas, "flimsy," "droopy," and "cheap looking" would be more accurate. IOW they're not up to EF standards. Very disappointing. I'm returning them.

Love the washed indigo fabric
While I love the fabric, the length is not great on me. I am 5'7" (long waisted), and it hits a little above my ankle. I would prefer it a little longer or a little shorter (to balance my curves). Also, I am finding that with EF, when there is a zipper and elastic, that the waist is tighter than just elastic without a zipper. I do like the way the zipper makes for a flatter fit, but I would need to size up for the waist to fit - and then the rest would be too large. Would recommend trying, because if works for your body I think you would be pleased with this pant.

Nice!!!
Just received the airy organic cotton twill wide-leg pants in the denim colour. This is the lighter of the blues. I ordered the size small which is my usual Eileen Fisher size. They fit perfectly, although instead of ankle length, they fit me full length which I prefer. I am 5'3" tall. Soft, comfortable, very light fabric and surprisingly flattering on me. I have not laundered them yet so cannot comment on how they wash. Very happy with this purchase.
