Pockets RUIN this dress
Another item of clothing that is ruined by poorly designed and executed pockets. In this case, the pockets would not lie flat, even when the dress was new and unwashed. I can't imagine washing would improve the situation. Every item of clothing does NOT need pockets, but if you insist, then design the pockets so they function properly and don't ruin the lines of the item.

Like it (but don't LOVE it)
The dress is light weight, well designed (pretty good length, straps that allow for a bra, pockets). I like it a lot but find I don't Love it. Finish just a bit dull, just a bit too long, maybe a bit too light weight.

Another Perfect Dress
Last year, I purchased two of a very similar style dress that was longer and the same fabric; so, I was certain that I would love this dress as much. It’s perfect for warm weather - light and very comfortable. Like most Eileen Fisher designs, they’re classic, so you can wear them forever.

I like this particular twill fabric as it washes well and doesn't overly wrinkle. The denim color is easy to wear with a variety of shirts/ sweaters as over tops, which I usually do. Therefore, the arm openings are non-issue for me, but I found that not to be the problem for me that some others had. I also like the longer length.

Love this dress BUT…
I loved this from the moment I saw it pictured so ordered pretty quickly. The fabric was lighter than I expected but it has pockets, is a perfect length EXCEPT under the arms where the fabric stood out a good 1-1/2-2”. The gap was big that it was noticeable whenever I moved. I ordered size L and it fit so well everywhere else. Sadly, I am returning it. I have a number of EF pieces and never had a problem like that.

I wanted to love this dress but . . .
I loved the style and the fabric, so it gets two stars. But the fit was terrible in all three sizes that I tried so the dress lost 3 stars! The armholes were flying out from under my arms and when the armhole opening was right, there was not enough fulness in the body. I really wanted to love this dress bc it is perfect for me lifestyle and where I live (tropical climate). I am very disappointed - all three sizes were returned.

Wonderful fit—very cool given the heat.
Quite pleased! The color is true to the photo, and I love the adjustable straps and pockets. Hem is long if you are petite, but that works for my style.

Not Great, Disappointing.
I didn't love this. It fit really well but the straps have buttons holding them to the dress, and they kept spinning around (the straps, not the buttons. Also, the pockets were SO low down that I had to bend over to get my hands in the pockets. This is one of those dresses that could have been perfect if they had spent an extra hour on the design. What a disappointment.

Material is very soft and feels wonderful next to my skin. Unfortunately, the cut is odd. Am tall and slender and this just doesn't work on me. Boxy and short ... a combination that usually doesn't work for my body type.

Easily a three season dress in Ohio
A very comfortable and figure flattering dress. I love a dress with pockets and these are well placed! I am 5'10", 160 lbs and ordered the medium. The length hits just above my knees. The straps on this dress have two buttons to make it adjustable. I wear it higher if I do not want a tee shirt underneath or lower if I do. The fabric is light and does tend to wrinkle a bit if sitting for a long time. It is a versatile piece with so many ways to wear it. I can easily see me wearing this into the Fall with a cardigan and boots.
