Close, but no cigar
Fabric has nice hand and jacket was an attractive longer length but dropped shoulder made it look and feel frumpy instead of classic and cool. Sent back.

nice cut and style for spruced up casual wear
I love this and wear the black twill shirt jacket with jeans, black pants, and white pants and it looks great. It spruces up a casual look and offers a layer for air-conditioned or breezy weather during the warmer months - can't say enough how much I love this! Order a size down - maybe two. I'm a medium and ordered an XS.

Thin material, not classic twill
This is another less than adequate EF product. It's too thin, poorly designed, baggy, and it's not a shirt jacket, it's a shirt. It's so lightweight it practically floats. Most of the items I order from this company, formerly a sort of top-of-the-line fashion firm, are now more of the rag-like fast-fashion one can buy more cheaply elsewhere. Part of this comes from the new EF use of supposedly climate-friendly recycled fabrics that are not simple silk or wool or cotton, the fabrics EF used to use. I've been consistently disappointed.

A soft, informal classic
The cotton twill material of this jacket has a wonderful "hand" -- soft and smooth, light, but substantial thin. I ordered it in both a small and a medium and found I liked the medium better. The fit is somewhat over-sized, which makes it look like a jacket, though the style is that of a shirt. I found this to be flattering on me, as the fabric drapes well. The style and fabric give it a slight western feel.

Versatile classic
I was pleasantly surprised at the material and fit of this jacket shirt. A versatile piece that can transition between seasons. The sleeves are drop shoulder but are tailored nicely. It has a generous cut so do not size up.
