Festive for holidays ( or relaxing at home)
I bought this in a petite size. I am 5ft 3in tall.It’s a perfect length for leggings or pants and wonderful to have long sleeves that aren’t too long. I hate feeling like a little kid dressing up in grown up clothes and sleeves that fit are really nice. I wish EF offered all long sleeved items in petite sizes. I also appreciate that it comes out of the dryer ready to wear

Beautiful fabric
I love the EF velvets, even if this year's version seems snug at the shoulders. The continued "narrow at the shoulders, wide at the hips" cut just doesn't work for me in the non-stretch fabrics. Further, the sleeves were too short in the XL, as has been the norm for the past several years. I purchased Nocturne, but returned it for the reasons above, as well as finding the color to be muddier than I'd expected.

Always Appreciate EF's Machine Washable Velvets
Eileen Fisher brings us velvets which are both beautiful and machine washable, a convenience which I really appreciate. BTW, had expected to see more blue in the color called Nocturne, which appears more deep gray to my untrained eye, so returning it reluctantly.

Besotted with this velvet!
I happen to have a velvet cap-sleeved shirt purchased overseas in the identical color and sometimes wear it underneath. Or a black cami. I have the teal/turquoise color (not its correct title). The feel is exquisite and it drapes beautifully. I got a small as I've lost weight.

Beautiful velvet shirt
Purchased this beautiful velvet classic collar shirt in Deep Aegan and Graphite. Both colors are gorgeous. I sized up one size to XL because my usual size L was a little snug in the upper atms and shoulder. Liked the drape of the XL. The shirt is a nice length. Can be dressed up or down with denim, ponte or dress slacks. Very nice quality and washable, which is a plus! Great classic shirt that will be worn often through the upcoming holidays and after!

Velvet Classic is instant classic
Beautiful classic. The fabric is soft and lush to the hand, and is not stiff. The colors are beautiful - both the grey and the green just glow beautifully, with great depth of color. The cut is classic Eileen Fisher - perfect tunic-ish long shirt. I could not be more pleased - for the holiday season, this will level up a pair of jeans worn with funky shoes. And for evening, swap to black pants and I can go anywhere. I love EF, this is one of my favorite purchases in years.
