Great drape
Bought this on sale and couldn't be happier, truly a wardrobe staple. Love the material and since it didn't wrinkle in shipping, I imagine the Tencel in the fabric will keep it that way.
I usually order a Medium in EF, 5'3" 140 lbs, but after reading reviews, I ordered a Petite Medium and the shoulders, sleeves and length are perfect.

Absolutely perfect!
I bought this jacket on sale and I'm very happy, but I'm also quite surprised that it hasn't sold out, and that the price has been marked down yet again.
It is a loosely fitting casual jacket. It is very nicely designed and special attention was given to the seams. The beautiful fabric is a slightly lighter weight than what I expected, and the slubs in the fabric are subtle. It wrinkles less than 100% linen, and the fabric has a slight swingy happy drape.
My size in Eileen Fisher fluctuates between a Large and Extra Large. For size reference: 38DD with 43" hips. I've found that Eileen Fisher jackets in size XL seem to fit me better, with more room in the hips and bust, even though the EF size chart indicates that I would be a size L. I chose this jacket in size XL and I'm very, very happy with the loose fit, the body length, the sleeve length, and the overall relaxed style. It hangs beautifully and it doesn't seem to be too large for me at all. It is comfortable and doesn't get hung up on my hips in the back.
I will likely wear this jacket over a t-shirt or silk shirt or sweater, with blue jeans, or leggings, or perhaps silk pants. The style is wonderfully easy going, and I expect my scarf collection to compete for its attention.
I hope there will soon be an occasion to wear this jacket...I love it!

This is a wonderful garment. Great texture and weight. Perfect spring and fall jacket. Drapes beautifully. A relaxed fit, it runs quite large, so don't hesitate to order a smaller size if you're unsure.

Oversized relaxed jacket; not a true blazer
The fabric is beautiful, drapes well, and has a nice weight. Unfortunately the cut was not what I expect from a blazer. I got my regular size which is PL, but the shoulders came down almost to my elbow, and the length of the blazer reached way past my hip/bum to mid thigh.

Works for me!!
if You like traditional, crisply tailored jackets, this isn’t for you — but for those of us who like a little tailoring in our jackets so they “move and flow” with a variety of shapes and lengths in pants and skirts — it’s PERFECT!! It’s a new “go2” and I may need to purchase a second one!!
