Nice pants but will need professional hemming
I have been wearing Eileen Fisher clothing for over 35 years and this is the first time I have purchased pants that are way too long. I see from reviews that it is not just me. How is it possible for an entire line of pants to be made longer than usual? Not sure if I am keeping when I will have to invest in tailoring as well.

Disappointed.
Disappointed in fabric. Wrinkles easily. When buying knits, I expect fabric not to wrinkle. The fit was perfect and the styling was spot on. Would not have returned if fabric had reached my expectations.

Fussy about fabric
I love the pants. They did come a bit long. I had to have them shortened and that takes a special sewing machine. They are beautiful with the I bought them for. The fabric was really nice. I definitely would recommend then to a friend.

TENCEL IS A POOR SUBSTITUTE FOR COTTON/WOOL
The tencel fabric you are selling as "jersey" in these and other items is thin and cheap. It attracts lint and does not hold its shape. It's indistinguishable from gets sold as sleepwear. BTW, large pockets are too casual for dressy pants. Am I going to fix someone's plumbing?

Unwearable length
I was so happy to receive these pants, until I tried them on.
The color rye is sophisticated, the drape is elegant, I like the pants have pockets.
The waistband pulled up to beneath my breasts, still left the pants too long to wear.
I wore one inch heel shoes and the leg opening fabrics touched the floor.
I’m 5ft 7inches.
Sadly I sent these back today.
Sadly too the customer service person whom I spoke w to make sure I completed the return doc properly, told me returns take up to one month to process.
By a month from now, I may be less excited to buy a different pair of pants than if I only needed ten days or so to maintain my shopping interest.

Keeps getting better
I love the stretch jersey pants but have so far bought only wide-legs, but that’s not available in Woodland so I bought these straight legs and I’m glad I did- lighter and more drape-y fabric, great length, super flattering. A winner.

Almost perfect
I ordered these pants in PM, my normal size. The fit was ideal except for one thing. The inseam measures 29 inches. How can this possibly work for a petite woman unless she has very long legs. I don’t. Yes, I will keep thee pants and have them altered by several inches. Perhaps not a deal breaker but highly annoying. Had I not had to have them altered the value rating would have been a 5.

Lovely fabric, flattering fit
I have waited for a long time for a full length EF pant in the right shade of brown. The Rye color is somewhere between light brown and gray, a versatile color that could go casual or dressy. The fabric is fairly light and drapes nicely. The Small, which I usually wear in EF, is maybe a tad long but otherwise perfect. The leg is on the wide side for a straight legged pant, as shown in the photo.
The cleaning instructions say to use a cool iron if necessary. Unless you are willing to wear these pants wrinkled, it will be necessary when they first arrive. They are tightly folded in a small plastic bag and deeply creased. In the closeup photo on the website you can see creases too. Hope this is not going to be a regular feature.
