Deep side slits!
I had no idea this had really deep slits. Don’t recommend if you’re not comfortable wearing tanks under shirts. If the slits had stopped lower, this would have been a great garment. The pictures don’t show how far up they go… it’s all the way to the armpits!

The perfect modest breezy shirt for summer!
This shirt is absolutely perfect except for one thing. It is breezy , a wonderful material for summer, the cut is flattering, the high neck isn’t at all itchy warm or uncomfortable. In fact it gives good coverage and I love this feature. The length is modest and works great with leggings. It looks out together and clean. The only issue the the 3/4 sleeves. I think if it were long sleeves it would be perfect. I hope they come out with the exact same shirt except with long sleeves.

Stylish and Fashion Forward
This is the most fashion forward garment I have ever bought from EF. Although I’m a fan, the clothes are very safe and rarely stand out in a room. Not so for this one. It can be worn casually and/or dressy but, either way, yes, one would need to wear a black shell of some kind underneath, that’s clear. But it is flattering and beautiful and, best of all, STYLISH! I am happy to own it.

Beautiful top. Moves with the body so nicely. The sides are open which takes some getting used to, and I’m too afraid to wear this to work without a shirt underneath it, but I love this top/dress with leggings and it’s all I ever want to wear. I think the sides only present a problem if you’re bending over. Walking or sitting around—not at all.

Side cuts! Whew!
I love the way this fits and it hangs beautifully but why do the slits go up so high? It isn’t easy to layer it, because then it becomes bulky. Wish you would make the same cut with the slits starting at waist length or below.

Description Lacks An Important Feature
I but and wear Eileen Fisher exclusively. Have trusted it for many many years. Tonight, changing very quickly for a dinner celebration, I threw on this top with EF pants. Thankfully, I also wore a midi length black down vest. When I got to the restaurant and took off my vest, I felt cool air, and suddenly realized those side slits were up to the bottom of my bra! I wore the vest for the entire evening. It is beautiful, and comfortable, but must be layered (especially in cold weather.

Such a great piece but fabric is a no-go
Besides the economic considerations, I cannot understand why so many pieces in this line are of Tencel. The fabric is awful- it loses shape and pills, then stretches into an unrecognizable form. I have tried time and again, thinking it may have been improved, but am disappointed every time. I so want this piece, but because it is Tencel, will not be purchasing.
Please stop using so much Tencel in your products! I am not buying because so many good designs are made with it!

Beautiful knit
This is a very nice, substantial tunic. It fits true to size. However, I will be returning as it has open sides up to the underarms. My fault for not reading the description carefully. It’s too hot in Arizona to wear layers. Besides that, it’s beautiful.
