Need more colors
Like other reviewers, I have been wearing these leggings for years and they have held up beautifully. Wish you would add back in some of the colors from before. Midnight blue, some of the brown tones.

Disappointing
The leggings used to be a great quality and the colour stayed. Since the change in fabric, they don’t hold their shape and the colour fades to grey quickly. I wash in cold water with a natural unscented soap and hang to dry. When paying $150 CAD for leggings I expect a better product. Extremely disappointed. Looking for a new brand - if anyone knows of a better quality legging - would love to hear about it!

Very disappointing
I was very disappointed today to find out that you discontinue leggings that I’ve been wearing for many many years and absolutely loved it. The new ones don’t feel or a loop this thing so please bring the old ones back or will be looking for other brands.

Poor Quality
I own several pairs of Eileen Fisher leggings. These are not the same quality or fit as the other leggings I own. Please, please, please go back to your viscose/lycra spandex leggings. They're the best!

Sizing
I’ve used those for years but the last pair seemed not true to the medium size I’ve always worn…so I’m taking them to the Costa Mesa store to see if a small is a better size for me…sadly this is not yo any dramatic weight loss on my part!

These are not the same, quality is so poor
I have purchased these leggings many times throughout the years (part of their system collection), having several pairs at once in my rotation at all times. They have always been a rich black color and a fabric that was great feeling. Purchased a fresh pair to add in to the mix - they are sheer (can see through them), a dusty black not rich black so they do not look new and cannot be worn with EF black clothing to match. The pairs that I have that have been washed countless times look more new and better quality than this new pair. Also the PS have fit me perfect - this fit is different. I am going to have to find a new source other than EF for my staple leggings.

Not as good as they used to be
I have been wearing Eileen leggings for years and just bought 2 new pairs which I will be returning. The ones I used to buy were a lighter weight material that breathed so I could wear them in hot weather. The new ones also have some thread in them that reflects light making them look shiny sometimes. Very unhappy and disappointed from a longtime customer. They are also much longer than the used to be.

Not as Nice as they used to be
I've been buying EF leggings for years. I know they changed the material to make it more sustainable but they are definitley not as nice. They look "Old" after washing a few times: Always in cold water and Never put in dryer.

Disappointed
I have now had this new style of leggings for a while, and I never wear them. When I purchased them, I was told they were the same as the system leggings, so didn’t even think about checking the fabric content. Let’s just say they are not the same. They come up too high on my stomach and don’t mold my body which makes me just feel very stomach heavy. The waistband isn’t very comfortable. The ankles are a little bit wider which is unfortunate on my skinny ankles. Your system leggings honestly are one of the only things that I can wear as I have developed some nerve sensitivity since having had breast cancer surgery. I had two of your system leggings before I realized what was going on and I was fortunate enough to keep an eye on your website and find three more on clearance. Not sure I’m going to wear once all of them wear out. I was reading other peoples’ reviews and one woman made a really good point. Your old system leggings lasted forever, so isn’t that better than me going out and trying a bunch of different leggings from other companies that are just going to get thrown away. That’s not very good for the environment either. Seriously I wear your system leggings every day with dresses or shirts or whatever else I have on. Please bring them back. Also, another point is that your new leggings do fade after just a few washes because I’ve honestly only worn them a few times.

I have several pairs of these leggings. Great for traveling. The size I ordered was what I always wear. This pai was big and droopy. Very disappointed in my purchase. I wore them while I was away so didn’t think I could return them.

Leggings not as soft as they used to be.
I have been buying your stretch leggings for the past several years. I would estimate that I have gone through at least 12 pairs. I love these pants. However, the main reason I love them is because they are soft and stretchy. Unlike the cheaper leggings in department stores, your leggings have always been a very soft fabric. This pair that I just received is not the same soft fabric I am used to wearing. It is rather rough feeling and I am guessing you added more lycra or other stretch material to the fabric mix. I can buy cheaper leggings that are not soft. The reason I pay the $99 for yours is the softness. I will also be writing Eileen a personal letter. That is how important this quality is to me. I can pay a lot less for scratchy fabrics, but up until now, no one could make soft leggings like Eileen. Please let her know how unhappy I am. Thank you.

This fabric is just awful!
Please bring back the original fabric. If I'd known EF was going to make such a drastic change to the perfect classic legging, I would have stocked up! Now ... I absolutely will not purchase another pair. TY!

please bring back the viscose leggings
I have purchased many pairs of black viscose leggings from Eileen Fisher and they were amazing. They lasted for years without stretching out and stayed black. These new leggings are very disappointing. I washed them in cold water and hung them to dry and they faded inconsistently. After a few additional washes, they are now several shades lighter than my viscose leggings that are at least 2 years old and have been worn and washed over 50 times. I don't even wear the tencel leggings out of the house because they stretch out quite a bit during the day. Even the fit is different. I'm 5'9" with a long torso and these new leggings have a very high waist. I like really high waists but I can't imagine this fit working well for people who are shorter or with a shorter torso. I realize that there are environmental concerns with viscose, but they lasted forever and as such had far less of an environmental impact than the tencel leggings that will almost immediately go to the landfill.

Terrible new fabric
I have bought EF for more than a dozen years and have at least 10 pairs of the system pieces. Sadly they have changed the fabric. The new fabric doesn’t match your other blacks so I can’t wear them with my other pieces, they fade terribly after washing (my lair is actually streaked!), and the new fabric stretches weirdly and isn’t nearly as comfortable as the others. I will not be buying any more. Such a disappointment. But I guess it’s more important to be a woke company.

New leggings fabric is terrible
I just read through the Reviews on these stretch jersey leggings, one of your most basic EF items. So many people have said that the new Elastene and Tencel mix is no where near as comfortable, stretchy or fade-proof as your traditional System leggings which I bought for years. I know you want to be sustainable but so many of your iconic products are now lousy and not worth buying. I am so disappointed. I hope you are conveying the thoughts of your loyal customers to your design team. Also - it would be nice if you didn't just use the boilerplate acknowledgement for each comment made. It seem like nobody is really going to see your comment. With a closet full of EF, I am disappointed you can't come up with a better fabric weave that is both sustainable and comfortable and high quality.

I was so disappointed that these did not fit. I ordered a medium and it was way too long. They were supposed to be ankle length. They were too long from crotch to waist as well. They were returned.

Petite leggings
I purchased the petite leggings in the past, I love the feel and the fit, I ordered these Jesery knit what a disappointment the waist comes up to under my bra the petite large fits baggy and the fabric fades after it’s washed. I’m putting them in the donation bag.
I would like to know who’s designing for EF because the jeans no longer fit right and now the leggings. I have a closet full of EF jeans and tops I’m not new to the brand so what’s up? You need to go back to what you were doing before this change of design and fit. I purchased a lot of jeans and tops for when I travel they still have tags on them so I’m good but the only thing I will be buying is shoes lol at least they fit. The last couple of years have been a fail for EF quality and fit.
