Pair w/ Georgette silk tank!!!!
I love this skirt!!!! Normally I am a PL, and I could have worn the M, PL, or L depending on how you want it to fit. Hubby and I decided the M worked best (also note, I am curvy. The a-line worked beautifully). I wore this skirt to our sons wedding with the silk georgette tank both in ocean and looked as fabulous!!!!!! I wore the skirt in size M and the top perfect fit a PL (5'3.5" and 36DD). This skirt and silk top saved the day!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a perfect look for me I also purchased again in black paring with the v-neck silk georgette tank. I will wear both everywhere, all year long also layering scarfs, sweaters, jackets...

Plus the cost of alterations
I would give this five stars if I weren’t tired of always having to have things altered. When you see an extra small on a model who is 5’9”, it’s not the same as seeing a large on someone 5’7”. The length on the model is terrific. On me the skirt brushes the tops of my feet and will cost $35 to alter.

I generally love Eileen Fisher clothes!
I love the, but not the top in blue violet. It stained the first time I wore it & when washed it, it left a little white mark where the stain was. This is not my idea of wearable clothing!

Sustainable knitwear
Great material, good style, however the skirt is maxi. I prefer midi. Size M was too big, so I had to return it. Will consider buying it in Size S, and will take up the hem.

Love this, purchased both colors! :)
I've never been much of a skirt person, but out of sheer desperation on something blue to wear to my sons casual wedding I took a chance. I purchased this skirt in ocean to go with the Silk georgette tank in same color. Looks awesome!!!! I came back and purchased the black because I can always use a great black a-line skirt :) fit, colors and material all perfect! I will easily dress up, or down this skirt.

beautiful skirt
I first bought this skirt in Ocean (a dusty dark blue), and liked it so much I also bought it in black. Although I love and respect EILEEN FISHER clothing for the company's dedication to sustainability, my main problem with the clothing itself is that the styles seem to be getting more and more shapeless and baggy. But this skirt skims the body in an elegant, flattering way, without being clingy or tight. If they don't fade in the wash, I know I'll wear the skirts until they disintegrate. I've received some real compliments about my appearance (multiple "You look gorgeous!") while wearing the blue skirt with just plain white t-shirts and gold sandals, but both colors look great with just about everything. I wish the skirt was available in white, and in a different fabric, for variety. Maybe next summer??

I have been buying Eileen fisher clothing for over 20 years and I am so disappointed with the quality of this skirt. I purchased both colors both extremely faded and piled. Washed gentle and hung dry. Look cheap.

This skirt is not A-Line!
I am a curvy woman—hips but not over the top. I actually love EF’s straight side-slit skirt—looks great on my curvy shape. This skirt, however, fits terribly on me. Can’t say enough that this is not an A-Line skirt. Bummer as I love EF’s skirts and pants for my curvy bottom. Please make more skirts that are for curvy women—-and in colors other than black. Thank you. :-)

Terrific basic for hot climates
The fabric is buttery soft and light: perfect for hot Texas summers. The fit is flattering and the petite size is great -given my short stature. The skirt fits in beautifully with other EF pieces and I know I will enjoy it for years to come. This is a good, solid basic piece.

Fits Me Perfectly
This fabric is so soft and stretchy. It is just thick enough that no slip is needed. Everyone has a favorite length for a long skirt. At 5 feet, this hits below my calves, which is an attractive look for me. I ordered the blue, because there was no black in my size. It's neutral enough, that I'll happily keep it. Now, I see that there is a black for me, and I'm placing a second order. It's perfect for every day, or it can be dressed up.

Easiest skirt, always looks good and travels perfectly.
Only problem is that for somebody with shorter legs, all EF skirts have to be altered. To make it calf length, I had to take 8 inches off. The length in the descriptions of EF clothes is not always right.

A perfect skirt for those with curves
After receiving my skirt, I loved it so went to purchase another one. SOLD OUT in the four largest sizes. EF this should tell you that everyone can wear an a-line skirt but not all can wear a pencil skirt. Perfect skirt in perfect fabric. More colors would be nice.
