Travel essential.
I just ordered a second one of these silk tops in black. Why two of these expensive items? I will be on a lengthy trip to Italy this fall. I’m an experienced traveler who travels a month at a time with no checked luggage. This kind of top, plus EF silk tees, make up the backbone of my packing. Ten of these kind of items take up little suitcase room. Plus they are easy to launder in a hotel sink, if needed. I will pair with colored EF tanks and camis which look so nice fluttering below the silk boxtop. I even wear them under the silk tees. So overpriced? Maybe! But, priceless for travel. At home I launder all EF silk items in a mesh bag on machine cold delicate with a detergent made for silk. After, I give a big shake out and hanger hang on my shower curtain rod. I’ve been doing this for many years and have never had a problem.
