A cross between a sweater and a parka, this coat features a quilted shell made
from recycled nylon and polyester fill made from recycled plastic bottles. With
boiled wool sleeves and trim.

Cozy and Stylish
I'm thinking this will be a great winter car coat for long drives as well as for quick dashes into stores. Most likely, I'll need to wear a warm sweater under it for walks around the city. It's an interesting change from the usual puffer jackets. I bought my usual size, Large, and it's plenty roomy to add a warm sweater.

Fits according to description. Belt is removable and so coat fits great. Boiled wool sleeves can be rolled if too long. Great coat!

The con concept of this jacket that can take a business casual jacket from meeting to car to meeting to office is great. However, I ordered it 3 times in 3 different sizes and the arms were sewn on oddly so each jacket fit differently.

Love it.
I read the not-so-good reviews before purchasing this coat, and I have to say, they are spot on and accurate. After receiving the coat, I could see exactly where they are coming from and made me trust the reviews on this site.
However, for me, that's why this coat is so special. The shape is odd and unique. Lightweight and warm enough for TX cold. A bit tight in the shoulders, but no problem because I will only have a single layer underneath. I love how weird and different it is.

I’m petite so it’s longer on me but I like the boxy ness. Dressy and casual at the same time. surprisingly warm - I’m in NY and in 40 degrees I can wear this with a turtleneck underneath and feel comfortable. I think adding a thin puff layer underneath would also work.

Happy I bought this coat
As a large curvy person, I wish this coat was cut a tiny bit larger through the hips which would enable me to keep it closed when sitting. It would also enable me to wear one of Eileen’s sweaters underneath the coat in really cold weather. Other than this, I love the flattering style.

Interesting design in concept (anything kimono-like appeals to me) BUT strange execution: I like the combination of fabrics and the length. BUT Armholes too tight to wear sweater underneath; body too bulky for using belt unless you are very very skinny or want to look like the Michelin-tire man; while a reviewer said she wears it without the belt, one would have to cut off the belt loops and the snaps do not make an attractive front. Back it goes.

Nice coat, just not foe me
The concept of mixing wool with nylon was nice. However, the coat did not work for me - I have rather slopping shoulders, so the kimono style did not look good. The coat does not have a collar and I feel that if it has a collar to turn up, it will be warmer. The model appears to be wearing a turtleneck with it, so I think that I would feel that I needed to do so when I wore the coat.

Wonderful Coat
I loved the looks of this coat but was hesitant because of the idea of having a belted look that for me is not a favorite. However, at a wonderful sale price, decided to give try, and so very glad I did. It looks fine unbelted, is light weight with warmth good for in-between seasons and looks great with jeans for casual wear.

Very Chic Coat
I was tempted to purchase this based on the sale price — I'm so glad that I did. It's lightweight but incredibly warm. I sized up for a looser fit, and on my first wearing out, I opted out of the tie (it comes with buttons). I appreciate that I can style it either way. A very cute (and functional!) piece.
