Great Top!
Saw this in the store in Atlantis, one of my favorite Eileen Fisher colors, and bought it immediately. Love the v-neck, and the softness of the cotton material. Also like the fact that it's not a heavy cotton, and will work all year round. I usually wear a medium or large in tops, depending on the item's sizing. In this top, I bought the small, which is roomy but not boxy. If you want it more relaxed, buy your usual size. Most important, I'm 5'1" and this sweater is the perfect length. Am just about to buy a second in black.

Rich Color, Beautiful Drape
I saw the color of the sweater in the store and didn't have time to try it on, but the color was rich and saturated. I ordered on line. It has beautiful drape and is very flattering. I always love the boxy fit. I'm ordering in black too.

I bought this in size Small, Atlantis. I sized up for movement and for drape, even though it is a relaxed fit. It is versatile and flattering. Gorgeous color.

Too short — why making so short recent years?
As a post menopausal woman who likes to look fashionable and great, but who has a round tummy and derriere, (pear shape, shorter stature) I do not like the look when tops cut across, right in middle of my midsection. (Nor do I like the long-long-length tunics, as they drown me) But this is quite short for a sweater described as “basic length”. I prefer a 26 1/2 - 28” sweater of this sort like the EF ones like this from 5 or 8 years ago — but would love to have new, and in this lovely updated color that would hopefully work for me.
I am not sure if your fit-model has any body-shape aspects in common with me or many other women at our age/stage? Do we all want to show off our tummies and butts?? Or have our tees and sweaters tops cut across right there? (The tees have gotten shorter too in recent five years, even as all we customers unfortunately aren’t getting younger)
Wish you would come back next year with this a couple inches longer — or maybe I am the only one who feels that way?? I prefer it to at least come down toward approx bottom edge of my derriere, not in middle of my abs paunch. Especially if I am wearing white jeans or any of your lovely and useful crepe pants — which look great on my legs but hug a bit too close at my tummy and crotch/derriere to bare with a shorter top like this.
I say all this cause I hoped it would work! Such a lovely fabric, weight, design (other than length), and gorgeous color! Please keep making but consider a little longer next time?? Thanks E-F!
