- A generous, boxy fit that drapes away from the body to create movement.
- 5'9" model is Eucalyptus is wearing a size small, which measures 25 inches on the body. 5'5" model in Black is wearing a sizepetite small, which measures 24 inches on the body.

Great 3-season sweater
This is a lovely mid-weight sweater suitable for all but the heat of summer. It has a very fine, smooth finish inside and out, and the teal color I ordered is lovely. A generous fit, I chose the smaller of the two sizes I ordered for comparison. I deducted one star only because I think a vee neckline would be so much more flattering in larger sizes. I have not yet washed this sweater; but I expect it to launder as nicely as all the other EF sweaters I've owned over the years.

Soft, stretchy, comfortable
Love this top, the fabric is soft, stretchy and falls nicely without clinging. It's perfect for those summer days when it's cool in the morning and evening and of course for the fall and spring. It will be a great layering piece in the winter.

Coming apart at the seam.
I really like the top but unfortunately as soon as I cut off the tag I noticed it was coming apart at the seam and had to stitch it back up. This is not the first Eileen Fisher garment that I have had to restitch. I am questioning the quality control efforts.

Happy to purchase this sweater in several beautiful colors, from a department store w/ coupon. Unfortunately, the softness that everyone has commented on is simply the rayon in the fabric -- and that rayon does not wash well, nor does it hold up well over time. I note the EF recommendation to hand wash -- that's a hard pass for a cotton sweater. Major disappointment. Returned.

A bit short
Good quality and fit and super comfortable - BUT it’s shorter than I imagined. I know we’re all different but I’m 5’4” and it ends at the top/widest part of my hip, so don’t think it’ll see much wear. Shame because it’s super comfortable.

Really love this top - I ordered in the black. The fabric feels wonderful on skin and it is a perfect weight for summer. I am a large in pretty much every other store but ordered this in a medium (my EF size) and it fit great. The length is not to short or long and it has some shape to it, which is unsual for EF these days.

Been looking for a sweater like this for a long time. This sweater is truly an example of the perfect basic. Incredibly soft cotton, lightweight, probably good through Fall, Winter and Spring, just enough detail like the rolled edges, outward seams and drop shoulders to give it a unique character. Bought it in black. Truly, a fundamental classic. To note: I usually take a Medium in EI, occasionally Petite-Large, but the Medium in this beautiful sweater was really too generous. Just looked like I was wearing a sweater that was too big for me. I have ordered the Small.

Disappointing
Looks and feels great when you first out it on but then it starts stretching and gets longer and baggier while you wear it. I thought washing would bring it back I to shale but it made it even worse so I had to return it. Made me sad.

So disappointed!
This sweater is beautiful. It is soft, well-made, and the color plume is gorgeous, although it looks quite different in real life than on my browser. That's to be expected.
The problem is that it is much too long. I purchased a PM, and it covers my rear end, cutting my body in half. I'm 5'2" and the sweater is 25" long. According to the description, a PS is 23 1/2". I thought a PM would be only very slightly longer. The sweater looks awful on me and I'm returning it.
I looked on your website for a description of how to measure a garment and could not find one. Maybe I'm not measuring correctly. If I had known how long the sweater is, I would never have bought it.

I love this sweater!!
I ordered this sweater in "watermelon" and it is a BEAUTIFUL color! I am 5/8"+ and 121 lbs and I chose the extra small size (I actually ordered the small and medium first because I wasn't sure - but they were both too big) so I think I would say that the sweater may run large. It is beautifully crafted, a nice weight and again, the "watermelon" color is so pretty - just the perfect pop of color.

Lovely color
Lovely fabric and weight for spring wear. I didn’t realize seams were exposed as I would have preferred a clean look. I am keeping as it is a nice, slightly relaxed fit and the color Plume is lovely. I ordered a PM and it is perfect. I’m 5 feet, 150 lbs for reference.

Eileen Fisher clothes fill my closet. Great quality and style -- and so comfortable! Plus reasonable prices for what you get. Clothes run very large, so I'd recommend stepping down a size.

Perfect Spring Sweater
This sweater is everything I expect from Eileen Fisher - a classic, comfortable, well designed and well made piece. The fit is slightly oversized but flattering and the fabric is soft and substantial though not heavy. This will be my spring go-to.
