Super cozy fabric
I loved this sweater's cozy fabric so much I ordered other colors too when it went on sale. The style/fit takes a bit of getting used to but the colors and fabric are so lush that overrode any initial worries. The cowl can be folded nicely to suit the wearer's style preferences.

So disappointed
I bought this luscious sweater in the serpentine color, which I absolutely adore! And, I got it at the end of the year sale which made it even sweeter. The downer? This sweater was HUGE on me. I bought my usual size and should have gone down 2 sizes. I bought it at the store and by the time I got home, tried it on and went online to find a better size, there were none. This is a great color because it's unusual but still beautiful, and also works as a neutral. I have the corduroy jacket in this color on order and hopefully it will fit correctly. Just a word to the designers: A lot of us are buying online, so consistency in sizing is critical. I should have tried this on since I was in the store, but I was in a hurry and...here I am.
Another note: I for one would love to have more pants in "full" length. It seems that there are way too many in "ankle" length. If I want shorter pants I can have them tailored. I'm in the Pacific NW and most of the year, full length pants are worn by many.
And, as long as I'm giving my 2 cents, I also like a collared shirt/jacket and am not a fan of the band collar.
Last, I never, ever, ever will need a cropped shirt or sweater. I have one on order right now that I didn't realize was cropped until it was too late. Also a result of being in a rush. I have a few of the "short" sweaters and they work, but I'm much more comfortable in the "basic" length.
Alright, those points aside, I am a big fan of the Eileen Fisher line of clothing. I love the fabrics, the construction, the designs and the commitment to our environment. Most current favorite colors are "grove" and "serpentine" and I do hope those are seen in future items.
Would recommend this product to a friend with the caveat to try it on first.

Great Black Chenille Turtleneck Sweater
This is a beautiful sweater - the black is jet black, like velvet, and the cotton is
excellent quality and the sweater feels wonderful and looks profoundly important
and elegant. I went up one size for drape and real winter sweater feeling. All good!!!

I recently purchased this sweater in the rose color. The fabric is luscious, and has a beautiful drape. I wear it alone, or with the same color infinity scarf which is stunning together. I am in between a small and extra small and sized up because the drape and sleeve length was better.
