Naomi ballet shoes
I usually wear the same size 8 in all my Eileen Fisher shoes, however, after reading the reviews I purchased 1/2 size larger. I do not know if I should have purchased a full size bigger. I am on the cusp whether to return them or not. The leather is so marvelously soft, they may stretch.

white is not a bright white but an "off white"
The shoe is a beautiful shoe, but was not the right white and was uncomfortable at the edge of the top (after a short time on showed red mark). I returned them because the garments I purhased to wear with were a bright white. I would recommend to a friend if she were aware of my issues. I live in the south east, I am over 70 years old. I can only wear some of EF fashions (boxy looks too sloppy on me) and can only afford to purchase when I find style, color and price suitable to me. I like the emphasis EF has on an interchangeable, ecologically conscious fashion. I love natural fibers. I also prefer the use of leather for shoes. I was very disappointed that this one didn't work for me.

Lovely leather, so soft and supple. I am almost always 8.5 in EF shoes; these are a tad short but they will stretch. I have them in black as well.

Narrow foot? Get these!
Like other reviews, this shoe runs narrow and short. I sized up to an 8 where I normally wear a 7-7.5. I also have a narrow heel and this shoe fits great. Nice insole as well. The yellow color is fabulous!

These are so sweet, but a bit narrow at first. The leather is super soft, so I’m sure they’ll mold as I wear them. They run a little small... I’m usually an 8.5, but took these in a 9.

Very tight
These shoes are very TIGHT. They run a full size small, and the bigger size will not help because they just get longer. Ordered them in yellow, color is more muted in reality.

Too small, too narrow, not a 'ballet slipper'
Despite being a gorgeous color and good look, these shoes are at least a whole shoe size too small and I ordered an 8.5 (what I wear in running shoes) and they are sooo uncomfortable.
These are designed for someone with very, very narrow feet and run incredibly small.
I will be returning these and not bothering on trying a size 9.5 b/c even if they fit length wise, they are just so narrow that I don't anticipate these shoes ever having the slipper feel that I had hoped for in a shoe with the name "ballet" in it.

Too narrow
I bought 2 pairs one Blk and one yellow. Size 9
Normally I get 81/2. But soooo sad the are too. Narrow. Leather is soft was waiting to get my shoes to find out they are too tight
Length was good but barely get my toes in. Made very bad. Any one with narrow feet this ur shoes. Not for any one. Med width

Stuck with shoes that don't fit well.
I love the design of the shoe and the quality is fine.
However, after wearing them a few times, the elastic back wore on the back of my foot and the width in the toe area felt tight. I thought they were high quality leather and should soon stretch to fit, but, I should have returned them before I wore them outside my apartment.
Now, I can't return them.
I looked up the return policy and although it seemed logical, I feel as though I am stuck with these shoes because they are too tight and I don't know if even a half size bigger might fit, but I don't know.
Right now, I am using a shoe stretcher to try to stretch them out in the toe area. I have tried wearing a thin (Falke brand) sock to stretch them and to wear them around the house, but have not had much luck with that yet.
I must have been unaware of the width given in the description of the flat, but wasn't.
I guess I'm stuck with them.

Nice shoe, good fit
I wear a 5-1/2 shoe with a narrow heel. The Ballet flats from Eileen Fisher are one of the few shoes I can wear. They are comfortable and stay on my feet. I wish they came in more colors
