Ratings And Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and easy Soft fabric and with enough ease for comfort and movement, yet still look pulled together. Ordered my usual xs and they are perfect. I am 5’5 113 lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! These pants are high quality, and attractive with slimming lines. Very comfortable, practical and can be dressed up or down. They are typical EF sizing, fit in my usual xs. They remind me of the wonderful EF Merino color block leggings I have from last year that I love. More Merino knit leggings and pants, please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ready for travel! I bought a size medium in both colors and love them! They are a very soft, light weight, comfy merino and will be my travel pants when we can travel once again. Because merino naturally provides sun protection, is breathable and wicks moisture I plan wearing these at least 3 out of 4 seasons. They are loose enough to layer with silk for extra warmth and light enough to wear in warmer temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Winter Pants These are perfect everyday pants, with a bit of stye, to wear on cold days. They are a bit longer than the description say they are, full length on me. The wool isn't quite as soft as other pants I have had from EF but has some body and holds up well. I am pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them!! I absolutely love these pants! Comfy enough to wear on my day off but still able to run out to the store. They are lose but not baggy. They don't sag at the end of the day. a nice weight material. Not too warm I have them in grey and black. I bought two black pairs in case they stop making them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My all time EF favorite Of all the things I have ever gotten from EF, these jogger pants are the best. I bought one pair two years ago and I now have purchased four more. They are warm and cozy, and also have a classy look, so can be dressed up or worn for a relaxed day at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wool pants I really like these pants. Perfect for travel or everyday. Soft and comfortable. I have them in both grey and black. 5’6” 128 lbs, slender build and a XS fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Practically perfect in every way These are fabulous pants. They are casual and comfortable enough for lounging around the house but nice enough to wear out to run errands. They're also warm and cozy, as previous reviewers have said. They do run a bit loose, so I bought a size down from my usual size, and they're perfect. I purchased both colors and hope EF offers more colors next year. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pants that hug I love these pants and live in them in colder weather. Glad to find a color besides black. Would purchase in more colors. They kind of give you a hug-so comfy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic I will have these pants in my wardrobe for a long time. Great fit and fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t live without them So warm and comfy. I have four of these and they’re basically the only pants I wear during late fall and winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from For Lounging Only These are cozy and the lightweight material feels wonderful, but they are fragile loungewear, not joggers. I went on an hour walk and the crotch area pilled then shredded. The weave and fiber are not strong enough for pants. There are runs like stockings! I am mortified and sad and don’t know what to do with my $228 pants with no crotch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luscious wool pant These may be the most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever owned. I’m 5’8” and 125 pounds. Typically a small in EF. These have plenty of room but aren’t baggy, even with the “slouchy” fit they still wear more like a pant than a jogger. The wool is soft, but still wool so has a very slight amount of scratchiness if that bothers you. Fabric is quite lightweight but exquisitely warm. Love the pockets, although being a soft wool I wouldn’t carry anything too heavy. The drawstring is barely noticeable. Goes great with a variety of tops- tunic or boxy or slim.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice leisure pant I am pleased with the jogger pants. The fabric is lightweight, but warm, and easy to wear. I am usually a small, but ordered an x-small based on reviews. The fit is good. Sometimes I wear petite, but I ordered the missy in this pant because of the 27 inch inseam. I had a good idea where that length would hit. However, since there is a longer stride in these pants, they are longer than I expected, considerably longer. Since I will wear these primarily at home, and the extra length pools in an ok manner, I will not shorten. To note, the extra length was a bit of a surprise. I have not laundered, but anticipate the merino wool will hand wash well. I got both the black and grey.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not warm and not worth the price These pants are absolutely NOT worth the price. I am a big fan of Eileen Fisher and received them the other day. First of all a Large was floating on me . I had lost some weight, however, am usually a large. I almost needed a small here. The material was decent but not really warm. The overall style was not flattering at all, in spite of the size being too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Attractive workhorse I have these pants in both colors and wear them pretty much daily. They run fairly large, but that is typical for EF. They launder well on cold delicate, dry flat. Unlike the other reviewer I do not find them warm enough for winter walks when it is in the mid-thirties and below, but just add a pair of EF leggings under them. This makes a great combination for working inside and then adding these to go out. I intend to buy a box-top which would look wonderful with it and with some dresses I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Merino Joggers are Perfection I SO love these!!!! So comfortable and, well, perfect. Worth the money. I am a petite XS or Small in pants, but went with the XS in these, and they fit perfectly. So well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Joggers These are great pants. So lightweight and so warm. I have them in black and when I saw they were available in charcoal, I ordered them immediately. The only alteration they needed was a bit of shortening. I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new winter basic. I love EF pants, but I don't always want ankle length. In the winter, and especially in this year of Covid isolation, I want full length in part because I will often be wearing (gasp!) socks. For me, at 5'5", this qualifies as a full length pant. For someone taller it might not. It's a great pant, slim enough to look great, comfy enough to be called a "jogger." I shall be living in these pants this winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy Jogger Pant What's not to like? Super comfortable and classic jogger. I already had them in black from last year and went ahead and got them in charcoal grey. The drawstring does not distract and they have pockets which is essential for me. The only drawback is they are way too long. I broke my rule about never shortening pants because they are just too comfortable to pass up. Go ahead and splurge. You won't be sorry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Merino Wool Pants I have been a loyal EF customer since the 1980's. Last year, I bought these (or very similar pants with exact same price) lovely Merino Wool pants in Petite Size Small in black and I loved them and wanted to purchase 1 or 2 more pairs in black but they were quickly sold out in my size so I purchased the charcoal color and I didn't like it so returned it. So this year when this pant became available, I was thrilled and ready to order 2 pairs in Petite Size Small in black. Much to my disappointment, this season, these pants are now only offered in black in Women's sizes, not in Petite sizes. This year, the Petite size was only offered in the charcoal color. Why does EF continue to offer some clothes in only Women's sizes and not in Petite sizes and also, offer some colors in only Women's sizes and not in Petite sizes. Most of my wardrobe consists of beautiful and comfortable EF clothes which I am very grateful to have/own; however, I'm unhappy about EF's preference to cater to Women's sizes and colors and not Petite sizes and colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy, warm, comfortable These are the coziest of cozy pants. I will be wearing them all winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweater Pants I haven’t worn them yet (too warm) but would expect knees to stretch out because of the fabric. This is a soft sweater fabric so likely very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable and relaxed. These will be a staple ‘about the house’ pants for the winter months. I bought both black and charcoal and will wear them with brighter layers on top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants I love these pants! They are soft and comfortable and have an elegant drapey shape. And pockets! Wool so I will wearing them for years. And washable which is a must for me. They are not a heavy weight so are not super warm - which makes them season-spanning and breathable. I have 2 pair in graphite and was thrilled to find the black in my size and on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for "staying home" in pandemic These cozy super soft and superbly comfortable fine merino wool pants were perfect for staying at home. And for taking the dog for a walk. They would also have been perfect to wear going out, had going out been safe. Not a bit scratchy, although I am sensitive to wool. The charcoal color and knit matched well a fine merino Eileen pullover I bought ten years ago, as well as other charcoal items in my wardrobe. I also have long legs. The ankle length of the XS was okay with boots, but I stretched them a bit when I washed them. I used the hand wash cycle on my washing machine, as I do with all wool clothing. They stood up to washing just fine.
