Great textured sweater, wonderful neckline.
I was so excited to get this sweater, especially wanting the short crop. BUT the crop stops right at the widest of my hips. Totally unflattering.

This sweater hits at the right spot; directly at hip which is great for petites as the sweater doesn't overwhelm. I purchased in store and was surprised that the Large fit me as i'm either a S or M in Eileen Fisher. The olive color was something I was missing from my wardrobe. The sweater is comfortable and soft.

I'm 5'1" and I thought it was too short. And, there are side slits which expose even more skin.
I will say the color is beautiful and the fabric is nice. I don't think the high waisted pants with the cropped top is for me.

A pretty transition color
I own this sweater in several colors. And I love this in azalea for spring/end of winter. The cropped length works well with a petite frame. I bought it in XS since the XXS was sold out, but it isn't too boxy.

Fits well, soft texture and easy to dress up or do
I like everything but there is a big drawback. After 4 weeks, the sleeves and front are developing pills. Called customer service, said they would replace or refund but I have to pay shipping since I no longer had the mailer. Anyone else have problems with pilling?

I love this sweater and the cropped length. I wear it with high rise pants and it's so flattering. The comments on the length in the other reviews are funny to be because it's the only sweater in the whole lineup that's cropped. Looking forward to getting another color or 2! I haven't washed it yet and it's already pilling a bit, which is a little concerning, but hopefully it holds up in the long run.

Petite Sizing
Agree with the customers requesting petite sizing. I did recently purchase two amazing sweater this season - this cropped turtleneck in serpentine and the sea salt sleeveless sweater to go with calk pant. Although not as perfect as an actual petite sweater would fit, I use shoulder pads under bra strap to lift the sweater sleeves and body. This is a compromise to create a better fit for some sweaters but not enough of a modification for the alpaca cardigan which I would love to see in petite sizing.

Too scratchy
Stop making everything so itchy and scratchy. Gorgeous color, sea salt, perfect for the chalk pants as a stunning ensemble, but way too scratchy. Also runs a bit short. I had to up a size to get the right length and sacrifice the better fit elsewhere. Breaks my heart to return and I’ve been searching everywhere for a similar top to match the chalk pants.

Petite sizes
Please make the sweater and all sweaters and petite sizing. I have a lot of sweaters from Eileen fisher in Petites and they fit me beautifully. Now that you don’t make them in petites anymore I can’t purchase any of your sweaters because the sleeves are way too long and the bodies are way too boxy, it’s just frustrating that you don’t make everything in Petites anymore

Wonderful Cropped Wool Sweater
I love this sweater length. I have them in the longer length but I like this cropped one best. I can wear a short peek a boo Eileen Fisher tank underneath that makes it sporty and adds a pop of color or I can put a matching color tank underneath and make it monochromatic. Please bring this sweater back! I would love to buy several more. It's my go to dress up or dress down! I would like to see Ivy, Oatmeal, Nocturne, Graphite and Black.

The best sweater EVER.
I have 3 of this style: 2 in black and 1 in cassis. It is by far my favorite sweater and I wear one of them weekly if not more. The wool is sensational: it does not itch and I am super sensitive. It washes like a dream: in cold water in the WASHER and dries flat overnight. The cropped length is perfect over wide leg pants and jeans. These sweaters always look new and never pill. Please, please next Fall/Winter make one in navy, charcoal and restock the oatmeal for me in XS.
