too short for my torso and broad shoulders
I own the pants that go with this in light plum. My shoulders are very broad and my neck is short. Wrong for me. The short length on my 5'5" frame isn't cute-- but could be on someone with a different shape esp. if you had a cami or fitted running shirt peaking out below. Plenty big in size M with long arms so I would consider downsizing.

A little more oversized and loose than the picture indicates. In general the lightweight cotton terry seems to be like this. It is fine for wearing to the gym and running errands but not as polished looking as it looks on the model. Fine for my use and good value at sale price.

Never sure of sizing!
I ordered this top in size L, color Fig. It turns out to fit too loosely so have requested a M. Depending on the cut of the item, I can go with M or L, but I am never sure. The color is a nice change and am sure I will br happy with a medium fig!

More colors please
I just received this top in the butter. I love tge top for its light weight and cropped fit. The sleeves on the pp are a bit long on me but they do roll up nicely.
I don’t think the butter color is good for my skin tone. I will order the fig to go with the butter pants.
Please make this top in more saturated colors, please. I can’t wear pastels and the white I know I’ll destroy. I really love the top!

A great versatile top!
I love this top - bought the fig color in xxs and will buy more - colors are gorgeous and fit is true to size. I do not understand the reviews that complain about the drop shoulder and short length. I specifically purchased because of those features, which are clearly stated in the description; why did they purchase in the first place? I hope they don’t impact future similar offerings - it’s nice to have a choice after years of long tunic style tops. Love it.

Lovely sweatshirt and so lightweight!
I love the hooded cotton terry box top and was excited to try this top given the lovely colors for spring. The top is a perfect length for a shortie like me, and I'm very glad that the sleeves are not too long since they are not cuffed. The fig color is gorgeous and the lightweight cotton very soft and comfortable. After the events of the last few years, I really find myself gravitating to simple, comfortable items like this that I can put on, go about my day and not be tugging or messing with my clothes. Please make this top in this weight in more colors, and maybe some shorts for the warmer months ahead!! This one is a win!!

I purchased this exact top from a department store that has an Eileen Fisher department. This is a sweatshirt with elevated style. It’s the perfect length and silhouette to wear with cropped & flared lounge pants or jeans. I feel decidedly NOT frumpy when I put this on…but it’s still cozy. I can’t wait to get it washed and back in rotation. For sizing info: I am 5’-8” tall, 128 lbs. I purchased an XS.

Want the box top drop sleeve moment to end!
Love EF but this short design box top with drop sleeves is completely unflattering. How long must this go on??? Certainly this style could use some innovation. First of all, it makes you look wider. Secondly, if you have a bust, it simply looks wide and poofy. The drop sleeve also allows for no shape. (And here there are little wings too! —that detail on the arms!) There are those of us who are smaller on top with a bust and perhaps shorter overall for whom this simply looks absurd and isn’t functional. I find my tops always getting into the sink or whatever I’m doing and I feel a distracting urge to push them down. I do want to DO things in the world and not just sit around and look flowy.” I’m over it! Please EF. Give me a shoulder and a shape that lengthens the torso and looks like a human body and not a marshmallow!!
