Flattering, not bulky, beautiful sweater
Medium weight sweater, will work most of the year. It is a new length, longer that the cropped or short sweaters, perfect.

Gorgeous fabric but boxy and short
I am 5’10” and thin and the extra small is wide like a medium size sweater but the sleeves are tight and barely make it to my wrist. The temptation is to get a larger size but I fear it will just be wider and look even ‘schlumpier.’ Pity because it’s a beautiful knit. The dusk color ends up being a sort of sad blue.

Really wanted to love this sweater
I bought this sweater in three colors in the size that usually fits was so excited to get it. The XS was too small - so traded them in for S in all three.l colors again.
I will be returning all three S sweaters too. Size is fine - but -well -they aren’t the sweaters I wanted them to be. I know that is on me - just looking for something more out is this sweater especially at this price point.
I have two EF sweaters from years past that are my go to pieces all the time - the one is worn and it shows, but it is still lovely. I guess I was looking for replacements for those two sweaters, even though those aren’t cashmere.
Nothing really wrong -just disappointing. Will be returning all three again. Looking for something a little bit longer - but not too long either. And something a bit more up styles.
Really hope EF will bring back the light weight merino woo she has a few years ago.
Very nice, just not quite right for me. I truly was hoping to LOVE them.

Wonderful Sweater
This sweater is velvety soft, falls beautifully on the body, and is an ethereal blue-gray color. I like the higher crew neck. As with most EF pieces, I always feel comfortable and confident when I wear it.

Soft casual daytime sweater; around home or town
This is a nice soft every day sweater to wear around the house or about town. I love that it is so soft and cozy without being overly hot, and appreciate the slightly open and attractive neckline, (as I cannot stand a big, heavy sweater or a turtle or mock turtle neck, because I just get too hot, and as a sort busty woman those are not attractive on me either). In contrast, this just has a nice easy-going softness to it, and I won’t be dying of heat if I put my car coat on and go out and about in it. Or just doing stuff around the house or errands.
That said, it has a slightly super casual look to it when I wear it (something I couldn’t discern in the online photos), as it is quite unstructured, and a very soft knit, so that — to my eye —when worn and looking in mirror at some point in the day — it almost has a look of a big casual long-sleeved T-shirt, or sweatshirt. And that seems like a bit of a mismatch to me at this very, very high $$ price!
I do think it is a bit over-priced for what it is, in that sense, but I will attest that it is a soft comfy cashmere, that is comfy for every day wear about home and about town on errands or a coffee with friends, etc… and having worn several times, it is not scratchy or cheap-feeling. And EF’s cashmeres are high quality.
I tend to have a pear-shaped figure, and this is flattering, because it just sort of skims over my body without being bulky and also without being clingy or tight on my bust, tummy, butt and hips, so I swallowed hard and reordered this… in the pale odd-white color (I think they call “Pearl?”— which in the flesh is somewhere between off-white and a very pale grey or pale hint of bluish-grey?) and also in the black (my first order was the soft blue).
My rationale in this indulgence was that the pearl color could actually look nice with white jeans and some nice jewelry, in the early summer months or the cooler north-Florida area where I sometimes visit in winter, for casual outdoor occasions… it just covers my derrière at my 5’-1” in the size large, which is good. And the black could just be a staple and dressed up a bit on occasion; altho as I say this piece looks more casual to me than most of EF’s cashmere sweaters.
I am grateful the length is more at the range I like as a 61-year old woman. It covers most of the derrière, (and since EF started making so many pieces in shorter length that stop just above my middle-aged paunch, NOT a great look and something many reviewers like myself have bemoaned in the past couple years) I feel like EF was listening here, and thankfully made this at a length that is just right. Thank you EF. And I do love the feel of your soft cashmeres, a true luxury!

Lovely soft sweater
I bought it in Pearl and it’s very soft sweater with a nice drape. It’s perfect neutral which goes well with black,beige or gray pants. It’s little roomy but not tacky and sloppy looking. I ordered another one in black. These are closet staples. Expensive but worth it.

Absolutely Love This Sweater!
This is the perfect cashmere sweater for all season wear! It is kitten soft with a great drape. I bought the sapphire blue/purple color and it is saturated color and looks great! The cut is very generous: I bought my usual M, but am pretty sure I could have sized down since it is very generous in the bosom area. But a little oversized is a good look for me so I am keeping it!
