Nice Summer Dress
The dress I purchased is a very light, refreshing yellow color. The dress does have a lot of fabric. It is not form fitting at all. The linen material is nice and cool for the summer. I did not find the yellow dress see-through but I would wear beige or white undergarments underneath just to be on the safe side. No slip needed, in my opinion. I decided this dress looks cute with a sweater or jean jacket. I appreciate the colorful line of dresses as a lot of the Eileen Fisher clothes are neutrals. I hope they make more dresses in these fun colors.

Beautiful dress
I had bought this dress in the two other colors. I absolutely love it and have received many compliments. The fabric is light and does not wrinkle much, so at the end of the day the dress still looks nice. Some of the colors are a little more transparent, then, if going to work I wear a light undergarment. I hope to see this dress and fabric in different colors in future seasons.

I ordered three colors, yellow, blue and purple. The same L, but the purple is a bit bigger, the material is better than another style, thinner than the white one, but still can see through, the collar is too hot, hope one day will make V-neck, the dress is too long.

The linen is perfect for the hot summer. It fits perfect for me. The buttons are easily break once iron with mild heat even with a cloth on. Even so, I enjoy wearing the dress very much.

Forgiving midi-length w/pockets: a win!
I love that I can travel hands free w/wallet in one pocket & phone in the other in this beautifully light & breathable linen in a wonderfully reflective wisteria color: natural sunscreen. I purchased the coordinating bolero length open weave light weight long sleeve sweater to cover my arms in chilly places. Some reviewers stated they were unhappy about the lack of a lining in this dress, but a lining would’ve diminished versatility of this dress for me by making its double duty as a vest impossible. I think the versatility to use this piece over either a slip or leggings as an individual sees fit for their lifestyle is a win.

Lovely, light, and airy
Knowing that this was going to be a thin fabric, I went looking for a “slip” to go under it. I found the perfect solution on Amazon! It’s a super soft, lightweight gown that doesn’t cling but, moves with the dress. Super happy.

okayyyy ...we all know that EF is on the priceier side of apparel howeveaaaahhh you get what you pay for and in this case a dress that will go the distance of several years! I love linen (summer coastal FL living almost necessitates wearing it) and yet want to look "put together" despite the wrinkablitly of linen! This dress delivers what I'm looking for! Classic without being stuffy! Comfortable even though dressy! The Aqua is a wonderful "pop" of bright color without being glaringly so! I splurged and purchased three! However, I will wear them plenty and already have! Sizing was right on the money too!
