Flattering skirt
I bought this skirt in black and love it. It's light weight and drapes well and looks great with a black and white top, or a black top with a colorful scarf. I like my skirts to hit below my knees and this skirt does. I'm about 5'-3-1/2" and weight about 125 lbs, so the size small fits perfectly.

fades when you wash it
When the skirt came, and I tried it on, it was terrific. I immediately ordered 4 more to wear and to store for later. Then I washed it. In cold water, with mild detergent. My closet is full of EF, and all the washable things always wash beautifully. But this skirt faded so much, and is so dingy, that I wouldn't wear it. I tried washing another of them, same thing. This is a problem with the "fine jersey" - it doesn't hold the color!

Way too much fabric
Love the fabric, had to return as it's overwhelming on me, far too much fabric, don't know how they made it look like that in the picture, even if I was tall can't imagine how all that extra fullness can be flattering.

Fine Jersey Flare Skirt
The material is light, flowing and lovely to wear. The length is perfect . The skirt is not as slimming as I had hoped because of the soft gathers across the front and sides. I wish Eileen would make an A-line skirt with the same long length, in soft non-see-through material that would be more flattering. I did buy 4 of these skirts, and I am very glad they do not have the high/low hem. They are very comfortable to wear!

not an a-line shape
i bought this skirt because i was looking for a high waisted jersey skirt in an a-line cut and i do not feel that this skirt has an a-line shape at all, contrary to its description on the EF site. the skirt is both baggy at the waist and sits very awkwardly at the hips. the design is such that it cuts the widest part of the hips in half with a seam. if you have an hourglass figure, this skirt makes your hips look extremely frumpy and wide. the jersey fabric is nice but the price is completely out of line with the quality of the garment's cut. for this price, i expect a much more elegant shape.

Wonderful light weight jersey skirt
This is a wonderful, light weight flared skirt that is just what I wanted for summer. Wearing pants all the time is boring and I wanted a skirt to wear with tops that are a little shorter, that just come to my hips. This skirt is perfect. I bought it in black and the cassis is gone in my size. I just wish there were other colors to choose from. A navy or dark green would be great. I am a tad over 5'3" and 126 pounds. The size small is just right for my waist and the hem hits just at my ankles.

Versatile, comfortable skirt.
Lightweight, comfortable, cut in a flattering way, this promises to be a go-to piece for me throughout the summer and into the fall. The color (sort of a dark claret) goes with lots of other colors--discreetly neutral but a bit livelier than black. I plan to dress it up with a pretty top and some nice sandals for an upcoming "casual" wedding on a ranch in the Southern California desert come November. For now I've been wearing it with a tee-shirt and sandals or sneakers to go almost anywhere in New York.

Exceeded My Expectations!
I had been looking for a skirt in a dark mustard color but had low expectations for this one because it looks so long, voluminous, and bright/yellow in the photos. So happy to discover that the real thing is so much nicer The Goldenrod is a lovely, saturated fall color and the skirt just seems to have a more flattering fit than depicted (slightly shorter and less overall volume). It's also very soft and very comfortable. For reference, I'm 5'5"/105# and size XXS fits perfectly. A steal on sale.

Sophisticated and fun
I love the drop waist, easy fit and lovely material. With most of my Eileen Fisher winners, I had to have it shortened to just above the knee. Makes it feel cute and fun. The length, for me, before I shortened it was frumpy.
