a fitting puzzlement
The crushed silk long tank in "Atlantis" is startlingly beautiful. The fit is a challenge for me. While the crushed fabric easily expands and contracts to follow contours of the body, I would categorise this garment as a slim fit versus an easy fit - on my body, in even my larger EF size, it hugs every curve. I will exchange for the largest size I have ever purchased, to try to achieve the look as modeled. This one is worth it!

Elegant and breezy
I had questions about this top being too oversized for my petite frame but gave it a try because I loved the fabric’s texture, which elevated it to a dressy occasion piece. After ordering and returning the top in petite small and extra small, I found the perfect fit was a regular size small. I’m pairing it with the slit leg wide leg pants for a breezy easy date night look.

Perfect for packing silk top.
Beautiful textured silk top. Would pack and travel easily. Unfortunately cut of size small was too short on my 5’3” daughter and exposed waist when she lifted arms. Fear a medium would be too large in arms and chest. Sadly sending back.

Cleaning not a problem
Very pretty but got bad food stains on it first time I wore. DHdecided to be helpful and used dishwashing soap and water on it! Supposed to be dry cleaned but it is fine. Just FYI for anyone who wants to hand wash

Beautiful, runs a bit small which I typically wear in EF. I bought small since the other two crinkled silk styles (tiered dress and boat neck cap sleeve dress) ran big on me in size M, but S was perfect. So I ordered size S. 😕 anyway, I’m sent it back as the brown didn’t look good with my chosen bottom.

Crushed silk tank
I was excited to see the same gorgeous crushed silk fabric rendered in a EF classic tank. The length was well proportioned in a petite size but as another reviewer noted, the neck is high and too constricting. I returned it and decided to go with the dress version (one more!!) instead.

Too scrunched at neck
I loved the look of this on the website but when I received mine, I was disappointed that the neck and shoulders were extremely scrunched up. It felt cloying against my neck and it had a halter top appearance so bra straps showed. From the chest down the fit was fine - more like a fitted tunic with forgiving “ruching”. I like the espresso colour. I will try to “unscrunch” the neck and shoulders to look more the like the photo online. I will post if I am successful.

Love, Love this top!
I bought crushed silk dress a few weeks ago, and liked it so much that I decided to try the long tank as well. I love this top! I bought the slit pants that are shown with it, and love the look. Also looks great with white cropped pants. Going on vacation with me so it will be a breeze to pack. I wear a L in EF and the top fits me well. I'm 5'5" and weigh 220 a top 40DD and wear a size 16 in most clothes. I don't have any issues with the slits on the side, as some reviewers mentioned. This is really flattering on, hangs beautifully, doesn't cling. It is dry clean only, so I just hope when needed it will clean well.

Beautiful, elegant and unique
I bought this as a treat for myself for my birthday and wore this to the birthday dinner my daughter gave me. I feel beautiful and very comfortable in it. The silk feels great! I so recommend it. I am glad that EF now makes petite sizes in many of their pieces. The petite sizes fit me perfectly. I do have a question now I need to clean it. Will the crinkle stay as is after dry cleaning?

Poor quality
The crinkled tunic was lovely but the side slits went up so far my midriff was exposed. Had to return both the top and scarf as they were to be worn together. Big disapointment.

Great potential, but a fail. Needs a solution.
I bought it in the azure color, which seems aligned with the expense of the dress. Love the color. Love the concealed pockets. Love the fabric in the darker color. DO NOT LOVE the situation with the straps, which show bra straps. Would appreciate recommendations from EF about undergarments -- bras -- to make this dress acceptable without a covering of some kind. Without some help from EF to support this style, I'm afraid it will have to be returned. It's inconceivable that any woman working at EF would have allowed this dress to go to market without an undergarment solution. In the engineering world--which fashion is, actually -- that's considered a fail, and would not have been allowed out of the design lab. Let alone at this price point.
I'm eager to hear the EF solution. I had high hopes for this dress, but am disappointed in the structural design and execution.
