I advise sizing down
I bought this and realize now I should have sized down. The fabric has a loose weave (if you hold it up to the light, you can see that) and it has gotten larger after washing, and has lost some of the crisp lines of the style. I bought the sleeveless black high-neck top last year, which is a different fabric - more of a slub knit but a tighter knit. I like the styling of this mock-neck, elbow sleeved top, and I wish I could see how it would have worked if I'd sized down. If it was reduced, I'd be tempted to try!

Super Cute, Good Quality, but not needs alteration
I love this top, despite that I will need to “doctor it up” a bit. The materials is substantial but still a good summer weight, and I live in Virginia.
Ordered XS, and still need to hem bottom and possibly arms (I’m 5 feet tall, and getting XS usually surmounts for this need. For some reason, hem is slightly longer in front than back, but that gives it a nice swing effect I guess. I need to hem up 2 times current hem. Ugh.
And unfortunately, the Black dye of the top is not as saturated as in the photo. Has the more “worn” color black. I bought this mock tee to go with the blackest black jeans. Very particular about mismatching blacks when putting together a more dressy fit. So it looks like I may have to RIT dye this shirt to get the noir I seek.
Is this top worth all this trouble? I think so, but have to sleep on it … as the top does cover a multitude of sins, if you know what I mean.
Sure wish this mock cotton top came in WHITE. Then I would not have to be stirring it in a cauldron of black dye. Note to Eileen Fisher.
Overall, I reiterate, I do love the look and vibe of this mock slub cotton tee.
