This is nicely made but I wasn’t fond of the look of the fabric — too glossy for casual wear — so I’ve returned it.

Beautiful top
I saw this on line and it piqued my interest. However, EF sizing is not very reliable, so I ordered and XS,s & M. The XS fit like a dream so I ordered the pants in a PS, both in nocturne. Now these are clothes I can LIVE in, I am 5'4" about 122 or so, slim build. Love the fabric and do not mind the cuff and banded bottom. The Nocturne is heavenly, too much black in the NE (NYC, Boston) A great purchase, esp on sale - the two pieces were less than one at regular price. An elegant look, not sloppy-hang-around- the den pieces. Love them!

The perfect flip to the 'little black dress'
It's impossible to imagine a figure that would not be flattered by the cut of this wonderfully comfortable and elegant top. (It even earned flattering comments from the teens in the family.) Giving the appearance of a low nap velvet, it is easily dressed up with it's velour mate (pants) or pairs with any of EF's crepes. Dress it down and you're still going to turn heads. Pro tip: As someone who must transfer from chairs to a mobility device this, paired with pants, is the ideal way to achieve modesty. With the perfect necklace it recently took me through a formal night. Packs beautifully! Disagreeing with prior comments, the hem and cuffs are turned with a generous self banding that completely does away with a sweat shirt appearance and adds a fitted look. Purchased in black and nocturne. Can't even attempt to hide my enthusiasm, I love this piece and hope you will, too.

Cotton Velour Long Top Perfect!
Many thanks to EF for offering an easy breezy machine washable cotton velour in both Black and Nocturne. Love the fabric, love the fit, especially appreciate the longer length and thankful also for options other than wool or silk or cashmere, none of which I would prefer. Only suggestion would be to consider offering in other colors such as Magenta or Royal or Forest Green if such possibilities exist.

Oversized, but so soft
I totally agree with the previous review about the “hem”. I did not want it oversized, so ordered the smaller of my two usual sizes. I could have gone down two sizes and it still would have been loose. Debating whether I will keep it. Lovely material and nocturne is a beautiful color. Just a bit sloppy in this size.

Almost perfect
Five stars, although not perfect. The bottom "hem" is not a hem, it's a separate band of fabric stitched on to the shirt. As are the cuffs. Why. The seam is clunky and the shirt would have been so much nicer if the fabric had just been hemmed. With that said, this shirt in black is absolutely gorgeous -- I washed it and dried for a few minutes, then laid flat to dry. It came out perfectly and feels so good on your skin. If you can't wear wool or cashmere, this is your tunic!
