Disappointing
These socks are thicker than I imagined. I haven’t worn the socks that I bought. I put them in a drawer. Maybe they will be useful in cold weather.

I adore Eileen Fisher socks but…
I can’t tell you how much I absolutely love the socks from Eileen Fisher. They’ve always been my go-to accessory . One of the great things is that they don’t have large toe seams, which makes me so comfortable. I enjoy the fact that you can count on all the socks to be super comfy. Which is why it really surprised me when I received this order. First of all they were unusually thick for trouser socks. The knit is what you would normally find in a sports sock. The other thing I found utterly baffling was the ribbing - it lined the entire sock bottom. I’ve never had a had a sock with the ribbing on the bottom of the foot - quite the lumpy feeling against your insole. It was bewildering because I do have some fabulous thinner socks from this company that have a gentle ribbing, but of course not on the bottom. I had to return these, which was disappointing because the colors were amazing. Oh well.

love the toe seam
No toe seam contact due to how nicely they are stitched. I find myself ordering EF socks on many shopping visits here. Care has been put into subtle colors and comfort. I wear 9 shoes and have long toes and they stretch to not cramp my longer feet.
