Disappointed
The very large & wide waistband on these pants, in this specific material, makes my hips and butt look big and square. The same tapered pant in puckered linen is far more flattering. I’ll never wear this pants. I do like the fabric and wish the pants were more flattering.

Fabulous pants!
I’m so glad I bought these. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The fit, a petite medium, is spot on. They do hold their shape at the knees, something I was worried about. Another staple that will make me happy for many seasons to come.

These pants aren't black, they're gray. They run big, and several minutes after wearing the smallest petite size, they loosened considerably' Going back.

Fabric doesn't stand up
Sadly, I loved these pants but the fabric just fell apart, ripping at the pleated gathering at the waist in several places, and just plain not sturdy enough for a pant. Tossed after four wearings.

Perfect summer pants
Cool and comfortable pants. Perfect for summer, but only for very casual wear. The fabric is such that it bowls around the knees after a while. However, love the fact that it is pull-on, cut narrow, and has pockets.

Probably a bit roomier than I like, but better roomy than tight across the derrière. The material is beautifully lightweight for summer wear, but doesn’t “billow”. Seams, hems, pockets are perfectly detailed. Very well made and comfortable!

Pants run smaller than usual. Nearly all my clothes are Eileen and pants have always fit. These are short in the crotch.

Poor sizing
Good fabric and color, but poor sizing. I ordered my usual XXS but the fit is too baggy and too short. It was not advertised as a boxy fit (which I never buy), but it definitely is. The sizing is always a little hit or miss, but this was more than usual. I'm very disappointed.

Finally EF produced a lively alternative to denim jeans. These are comfortable, beautifully tapered and flattering. I’m 5’2” wear EF PM in pants and 8P in jeans. These are a perfect fit

The Taper was off
I really was looking forward to receiving these pants. I have two other EF pants that are designed similarly and wanted a lightweight material. I actually liked the fabric a lot but the fit was off. Its hard to describe but taper from top to bottom actually rolled from the side to the front and bunched up. None of my other EF pants have ever done this. I wondered if I just got a lemon? Has anyone else had this problem? I really wanted to keep them because I loved the fabric but the odd taper just looked bad.

Great alternative to jeans!
I was hoping EF would make a pair of denim pants that were comfortable, not tight jeans. They are here! Very soft, light weight fabric. Versatile. Thinking about purchasing the matching jacket. (I am 5'2" about 100 lbs and wear an xxs, but they still needed tailoring through hips. Petites don't have high enough rise.) Hope this is helpful!
