Clown-costume wide
Love the chestnut color of this top -- which earned it one star. The WIDTH of this shirt stretched beyond belief - although I followed laundry instructions. It looks absurd. I love linen and have loads of experience taking care of it. Wish I'd never bought - waste of money.

Shrinks in the wash
I love the color and the linen fabric is very comfortable; however, it shrank when following the washing directions and is now about 2" shorter. I have to wear it over a tank top.

Lost it’s shape
I washed this top according to directions. After one wash, it has lost
it’s shape and looks worn. I have never returned something that I have worn but I would love to return this.

Poor quality
The tag says to wash and dry on low. I washed this tee in cold water and hung it to dry instead and it shrunk and lost its shape. Heaven knows what would have happened had I followed the instructions on the tag. I have been very disappointed with quality of Eileen Fisher products in the last few years.

I agree entirely with the earlier review on this shirt. I love the reef color. Glad EF is offering rich blues and greens. But the fabric quality is very poor. And the grain is off, as the reviewer indicated. I sent back.

Quality Control Issues
I love EF linen jersey t-shirts and have been excited about the warm greens and blues that have been added to the collection. However, EF needs to review quality control with the manufacturer of these shirts. The main issue is the grain line of the fabric which has been dramatically off - please see my pictures. My seaweed shirt has a straight grainline - it hangs well on the body, the neckline is centered, and the neckband lies flat. On the reef shirt I just purchased, the grainline is drastically off, the neckband sticks up, the neckline is distorted. This will also cause side seams to twist over time. I don't think that's acceptable for a t-shirt in this price range. I really hope EF reads this review and takes action. I am sadly returning the reef shirt - I love the color, but I buy my clothing with longevity in mind, and faulty construction does not support that.
