It is Nice, BUT!
I purchased this dress for a trip to Paris. It is a pretty blue color and it washes beautifully. I did wear it in Paris and it packed without wrinkles. It is a bit snug in the bust line, I purchased a small which is my usual Eileen dress size. Although I like the dress it does not flatter me very much; it actually seems to make me appear larger than I am. I did not realize this when I initially tried it on, but after wearing it several times during my trip I came to realize it was not flattering for me. This is my opinion which does not seem to be the opinion of others. You might find this a perfect fit!

Wonderful versatile dress
I am not always an Eileen Fisher fan. Many styles are a bit frumpy for me, but I love this dress. Extremely comfortable fabric with just enough stretch to be forgiving. Fabric washes well and doesn’t have to be ironed although a quick touch up might be in order.
The dress is very flattering. I wear it for everyday and for upscale casual occasions with a bit more jewelry.
I have 2 black and one ink dress and am considering the blue tote color if it is more purple as some reviewers state.
I am 5’5, 145 lbs. and purchased the PM. It is a tad snug in the bust but the PL was too large.
Please make more stylish dresses like this one!

Because this dress is the puckered cotton, there is no ironing.
Dress drapes well. Has pockets. Slimming in ink colour. A winner \for heat and summer.

My First Ever Petite Sized Outfit
I lost a great deal of weight this past year and all my Eileen clothes are L or M….so based on some of the reviews here I took the plunge and ordered this dress in Petite Small! It fits perfectly! I cannot believe it, but I am wearing this dress and loving every minute. Thanks to all previous reviewers who really guided my purchase decision.

Great fabric, fun dress
Love this fabric. It is cool without being transparent. Has enough heft to shape, but still moves. I’m 5’2” and 113 lb. PP fits perfectly.

Elegant look, comfortable dress
I bought this dress in the blue (almost purple) color and washed it before wearing in order to soften the cotton. Although the dress looks like a sack in the pictures, it really has a lovely fit in person. It has a higher neckline compared to other EF dresses that I wear, hangs beautifully, and has wonderful deep pockets. Plus it's super comfortable. I normally wear a small in EF, but ordered a petite small in this dress. I am not petite! I'm 5'7" and weigh about 147-148lbs.

Flattering longer length for petite women
I have to exchange this dress for a larger size because the armpits feel skimpy. Love the high neck line for sun protection, pockets. The slightly narrower hem keeps it from overwhelming shorter people. Perfect for a very hot day. I ordered my usual MP.

The PERFECT Dress!
This dress is perfection. I got it in Ink in my regular EF size Small. It fits perfectly. I can't explain how the elastic at the bottom works, but it shockingly creates the most beautiful silhouette. It has pockets! The material is gorgeous. Ink is a beautiful navy blue. The neckline shows off my jewelry. It can be dressed up or down. I'm in love with it, and I'm now thinking of getting the grey linen one. EF, please make a fall/winter version of this incredible dress for later this year!

Not a fan of the hem
I love everything about this dress but the hem, which is the entire point of the dress. Love the fabric and the length and the higher neckline, so I toyed with cutting off the hem and adding just a regular one, but that seemed ridiculous.

The perfect summer dress? More colors please!
I love this fabric, like the most ideal cross between seersucker and poplin. Versatile, extremely forgiving design, with perfectly oriented pockets and a beautiful lantern hem that kind of reminds me of hanbok skirts. Not overwhelming for shorties either (I sized down one size). I only wish the neckline were a little lower (higher on me than on models) and there were more colors. Ink is a favorite EF color but I would love to get another dress in something lighter, maybe a pearl gray or mineral green.... Please?

Very "Cool" Summer Dress!
I'm excited to be the first to review this dress! Personally I think the lantern shape dress is very visually interesting and modern looking.. I love it. But I did have to try on 3 sizes to find my perfect one. I usually wear Medium in almost everything with some pants needing to go to a PM. The medium in this dress drowned me in all ways (width and length). The small did too! But... the PM fits just right! Thank you for making petite sizes in this dress! I am actually not exactly petite (5'5" 150 pounds) but it is still what I need. The bluette is an eye catching color... so much nicer than navy, but not as quirky as a true purple. I really like it. My one issue is that the fabric that lays on the top of my shoulder sticks up and off of my shoulder just a bit... like 1/4 of an inch.. in any size I tried on! I'm not sure what that is about frankly but have decided to still keep the dress because I love: 1) the pucker fabric! 2) high neck line for sun coverage 3) the length means I can sit and move anyway I want to 3) interesting lantern silhouette and 4).... pockets!!
