Too sheer
Ordered the Black dress and would have liked to know how sheer it is. Personally a bit too sheer to wear without anything underneath, which is annoying for a Summer Dress.

Like the lightweight comfort
Light weight, comfortable, and great fit. My only complaint is that it sheds all over rugs, floors, and on layering piece under it. Maybe the shedding will stop once it is washed??

Hem issues
This dress is similar to the cotton gauze tank I panned -- the fringe is attached to the hem with a raw seam that does not lie flat. I couldn't figure out why the photos of this dress showed the hem to be such a mess -- now I get it. I like the black version of this dress and am cutting off the poorly done hem and simply hemming it myself.

Size down for a straighter look. The dress has volume. I am sad the fabric is not as dense as Eileen’s former guaze dresses . Nonetheless, it’s a well designed, functional dress for summer !

Great shape, but super sheer to wear as a dress.
Love the fit and the textured cotton gauze, but this is super sheer to wear as a dress as pictured. Would need some sort of slip which defeats the purpose of this lovely airy summer dress! Perhaps more layers in the weave of the gauze would help this issue. Sheerness should be noted in the product description.

great addition!
A piece that doubles as a duster or dress is a brilliant idea, esp. for summer travels. The lovely picante color screams summer! Looks equally good with skinny or wide-leg pants. Also does triple duty as a beach cover up! The weight of the fabric is great--will keep you cool but it's not too sheer due to the double layer of gauze. STRONGLY recommend sizing down, though. I'm reliably a medium in EF but the small is plenty roomy, either open or closed, and my usual size would be unwearable. (And at 160 lbs., 5'8, I'm not a small person.). I haven't found a lot of pieces that I love recently but this one is fantastic.
