The funnel neck box-top, a favorite shape with sweater-soft texture. In wool
that's boiled for structure and movement. Also available in a longer proportion.

- 5'9" model in Barley is wearing a size small, which measures 25 1/2 inches on the body. 5'2" model in Barley is wearing a size petite small, which measures 24 1/2 inches on the body.

I love this sweater! Wardrobe staple.
I love this sweater. It's warm and cozy while at the same time being light enough to breathe. It is definitely a wardrobe staple...I wear it for work, going out in the evening and having friends over. It is a go-to and after buying the black I bought a second color. I highly recommend this sweater!

Somewhat disappointed
I have 3 of these tops...each varied not only by color but style. With that being stated I am disappointed in my most current top because it was made cheaply...much shorter & raw seams with a single stitch. Same price, but less fabric. I feel cheated, and I've never said that about EF clothing....the sign of the times...sad

Lightweight Boiled Wool Box-Top
I bought this sweater a size larger than what I usually buy with Eileen Fisher. I generally find the box tops a little less tent like when you size up. I really like the beige rose color. If there is anything I would rate it down on, that would be that it needs to be dry cleaned. I am hoping I can get away with handwashing it. Does anyone have any advice on that?

Scratchy fabric.
I found this top hard to wear because of the scratchiness of the wool right under my chin. Because of the neckline, it is difficult to find anything I can wear to protect my skin from the rather rough wool.

Excellent lighter weight boiled wool top
Bought in the great orangy-red Marmalade and the pretty soft green Cypress. Attractive neckline. M better fit than PL for length on 5’3” as I like a bit more coverage below the cropped waist look and the garment drops down a bit straighter instead of poking out in front falling from bustline. I do turn up the sleeve which looks fine. One point off for Dry Clean Only but I’ve never had any luck hand washing boiled wool without shrinkage. Wonderful colors for Dec holidays and beyond.

Lovely Sweater!
Simple, clean design that will last for years to come! The mock neck looks nicer than I was expecting, since I've never purchased this design before this season. The 'seam-out' detail gives the sweater some added style. I usually wear small or xs but accidentally purchased sp, which I'm assuming is petite small. I'm long-waisted so this was a concern for me, but the sweater fits nicely and isn't too short. I should have probably gotten the xs, but I'm happy with the fit of the sp. The sweater is warm! That said, it isn't too warm for southern California winters. The sleeves are long which I love. I cuff them unless it's an exceptionally cold day/night, and then it's nice having the added coverage. I purchased sorbet. This is not a go-to color for me as I tend to gravitate toward cool blues, black or grey. As one reviewer noted, it's a nice pop of color! Would definitely recommend.

The fabric and color are wonderful and the sweater runs true-to-size. However, the collar looks better on the hanger than on a person. People are not flat and the collar sags. It certainly does not look the same on me as it does on your model! It is hard to believe that the collar could stand up as it is pictured without some significant help.
